i KNOW Ruby. Do you know why CW decided to put TO on Tues, rather than running it back to back with TVD on Thur? Seems like they missed a shot to help the numbers for both series. The Originals will be on Monday, not Tuesday. Also, I like that both show are on different days cause it gives me two vampire shows in a week without one bleeding into the other. It also allows my brain a reprieve between both so I can enjoy each on their own merits. It's the best of both worlds. i agree because it takes me a day or two to get my thoughts together on one show so imagine both of them back to back

SPOILER:
Question: I don’t care about Hayley and Elijah on The Originals. I want to know about Mikael and Esther! What’s that crazy couple up to in Season 2? —Ashleigh
Ausiello: Funny you should refer to them as a couple, Ashleigh, as their relationship is going to be explored big-time in the coming season. “We know about their marriage, and we know that they made their kids into vampires, but do they like each other?” executive producer Julie Plec muses. “Do they hate each other? We’re having so much fun writing the history of Esther and Mikael right now.” Sounds like their future is just as mysterious as their past.

SPOILERS:
I can’t wait to see Daniel Sharman on The Originals. Any other new faces we should be looking out for? –Morgan
You’re not alone in your excitement, and the former Teen Wolf star certainly won’t be the season’s sole addition. Episode 6 will introduce us to a “respected and feared” werewolf pack leader. What sets this guy apart from the rest of the Big Easy’s lycanthropes? He’ll spend quite a bit of (non-romantic) time with Davina, teaching her how to extend her power. In short, Klaus will not be a fan of this guy.
Fernanda: Davina has become such a little badass on The Originals! What can we expect to see for New Orleans' best witch next season?
A much stronger (and funnier!) Davina, which we are so down with. "It's really cool to see little Davina completely controlling him," Danielle Campbell teased of Davina and Mikael's buddy sitcom-esque dynamic in season two. "They have a lot of banter. It's just fun. Davina is just completely sarcastic with him and doesn't care about anything he's saying." But he won't be the only new guy in her life as Davina is getting a new love interest. "There's a lot to feel out with it, so she's taking her time," Campbell said of the young witch's slow-burn of a new romance with a certain Teen Wolf guest star.

The Originals (The CW) Premieres: Monday, October 6 at 8/7c
Where We Left Off: After being kidnapped by the witches, Hayley gave birth, was immediately killed, but came back to life as a hybrid. In order to save her and Klaus' child, the two made the heartbreaking decision to give baby Hope to Rebekah with help from Marcel — who was then compelled to forget the baby is alive. Finally, not only has the Guerrera pack taken back control of the French Quarter, but Original family members Esther and presumably Finn returned via new bodies in the last few minutes.
What's Next: Esther will make her presence known fast, only aiding to Klaus' destructive rampage. "Klaus has decided that he will only imagine a day when he'll be reunited with [Hope] while he destroys everyone keeping that child away from him," executive producer Michael Narducci tells us. "So he will make everyone [pay]." With regard to his relationship with former protégé Marcel, Narducci adds that they're in a really good place. "Klaus has an agenda [and] he knows that of all the allies he could have, Marcel knows the city, knows the layout, the politics and Marcel back in the 1920s and '30s was able to take out the wolves. So if Klaus wants to deal with the Guerreras he'll need someone who knows how to do that." As for Davina's decision to bring back Mikael, she'll have the two to deal with when they find out what she's done. Hayley too will be shattered, but ready to enact revenge, and although she and Elijah had finally kissed before the finale, don't expect that coupling any time soon.

SPOILER:
Any mild spoilers for The Originals? –Nasir
Now that Hayley is a hybrid, life will only get… hairier… for her. “Just when this woman found a connection to her werewolf ancestors, she’s now severed from that connection,” co-EP Michael Narducci observes. “For a lot of reasons — loss of her child, loss of her family, loss of her identity — she’s really going to be struggling. It’s going to push her to a place where she lashes out at everybody.”

SPOILER:
Question: Any scoop on what baby Hope will be up to in Season 2 of The Originals? — Ash
Ausiello: Sorry, Ash, nothing on that particular tyke, but it sounds like someone else will have babies on the brain. Producers are currently casting Ingrid, a supposedly barren young woman who will stop at nothing to be with-child — including lying to her husband. (Gee, if only there were a few witches in town who might be able to help her out….)

SPOILER:
Loved seeing Kol in The Originals season 2 trailer. Any scoop on his return? — Katie
We’ll see the not-so-dearly departed Original as early as the second episode, but that’s only in flashbacks. As for seeing him in the present, executive producer Julie Plec teases, “We’ll have to see just how crafty Esther was when she was yanking people over from the other side.” Then again, there’s always the slight chance that Kol was the brother Esther brought back with her in the finale, right?
