Any scoop on The Originals finale? — Susanna
Get ready for a threesome! (No, not that kind!) Both Cami and Davina will join Team Marcel in an effort to take Klaus down. "Marcel truly cares for Cami," co-executive producer Michael Narducci says. "As far as Marcel and Davina, [he] absolutely has an 'older brother' relationship and looks out for her." Will those emotions cloud Marcel's judgment in battle?

Umm no caroline dries you killed everyone so there are not 40000 characters on the show. Maybe this is why it is hard for her to write she thinks every character has 10000 doppelgangers. Uggh she makes me sick.

SPOILERS:
Delilah: Got anything on The Originals? It's my favorite show and I need scoop like, now!
We did get a chance to chat with Joseph Morgan, and while he understandably couldn't say much about what's coming, he was able to tell us that if you thought last week's episode was a doozy, the finale "takes it even further." The handsome hunk revealed, "It's a huge episode, and it's also very terrifying. It's a really frightening episode," which makes sense, given that it was directed by the same guy who directed that super creepy hospital episode from earlier in the season. "I don't think you're going to be disappointed," Morgan promised. "We're going to go out real strong."

I was just considering something. At the end of Season 1, we saw "Cassie" with a male witch standing in front of Esther's grave. The male witch (we're assuming it's Finn) said, "May she rest in peace." He was talking about Esther as if she wasn't standing right next to him. More recently, spoilers have popped up indicating that a witch named Lenore will be one of Klaus' biggest problems. There's been no mention of Esther. Even Julie Plec was dodgy about telling anyone who was in Cassie's body, even though it should be too obvious to keep a secret, right?
Here's what I've been thinking. The mythology of people putting themselves in other people's bodies has been long established on both TVD and TO, and it's apparent that someone else is currently in Cassie's body, and in the male witch's body too. What if the spirit in the male witch's body actually is Finn, and even though he called the spirit in Cassie's body "Mother," she's not Esther? It's true that three witches died, and that should trigger the resurrection of three witches ("Cassie," the guy who called her "Mother," and Lenore), but since there's been talk about the new character Kaleb being a witch too, I'm starting to wonder if Lenore is Esther, and maybe there was no Original Witch. It would explain why "Esther" was so powerful and had no problem with putting herself in her vampire daughter's body at one time. What if Lenore was in the real Esther's body before the Originals were even born, and Finn was saying goodbye to his biological mother at her grave because her spirit was gone forever? If Lenore is that type of witch (I don't want to use the word "traveler" because they seem to be avoiding that term on TO), then she would be a very difficult adversary for Klaus, only one reason being that she could reverse his immortality and kill him. I'm sure TO writers would concoct some way around the need for Stefan and Elena's blood, since they contradicted TVD mythology by making Klaus and Hayley able to have a child who can sire her own hybrids. I agree with Elijah that Hope is certainly a "miracle child," but I'm not going to complain about a story that the majority has fallen in love with.
If my theory is correct and Esther was forced out of her body before someone else gave birth to and raised Esther's biological children, one of the characters is bound to bring up the fact that the Originals never knew their mother. The question would become whether they should acknowledge the witch who gave birth to them and raised them, or wonder if the real Esther might have treated her family better. It would be awesome if I'm right. I don't know, though. So many things happen in this show at once that the Originals might go up against over a dozen Big Bads by the end of the season.
As for Kaleb, sources have contradicted each other about what exactly he is. An early announcement said that he's a paranormal psychologist, which would mean that he's most likely human, but later articles claim that he's a witch. Regardless of what some websites have speculated, I highly doubt that Kaleb is both a paranormal psychologist and a witch. It seems like the TO writers started out wanting Kaleb to be one thing, and then changed their minds. I thought I saw a promo photo indicating that Kaleb was supposed to be introduced in Season 1. There was another prospective character named Gia who I'm pretty sure got killed by the Guerrera werewolves after her story was edited out of whatever episode it was in. Personally, I'm glad that both the TVD and TO writers are flexible enough to change things if a story isn't working.

How long before Klaus finds out about Esther and Finn when The Originals returns? — Harriet
"Do we know that it's Finn?" executive producer Michael Narducci muses when my colleague Robyn Ross asked him the same thing. Regardless, Esther and whoever was with her will make their names known soon. "If you think about the kind of stories that Julie Plec tells ... based on that you have a sense of how quickly we'll play it out, who's returned, what their agenda is and we'll start to see some pretty intense complications before too long."
Taylor: Give me some scoop on my favorite couple on TV: Hayley and Elijah on The Originals!
Come on, is there really time for romance in NoLA?! "Elijah should be nervous about a lot of things. Elijah is going to go through some s--t this year at the beginning of the season," Julie Plec told us. "It's not going to be all puppy dogs and rainbows for him at all." And one thing he'll definitely have to worry about? Hayley "reconnecting" with Jackson, as Nathan Parsons "will make his return about six episodes in."
