What I liked . Thank the lord this was amazing and I was so excited. I liked how they tied the death of the uncle with damons story. That was nice. Caroline staying team stelena and maybe joining team steferine awesome. Damon was loving to elena when he said I promise to get you out of here. I am excited about the parallel that even though de never rescued him he will find them. As Katherine says always the hero.
What I did not like was damon's story. I thought the writers could have done so much better. It was just I don't know I expected better or I wanted better this is a story that has nothing to do with Elena and it feels like they are throwing it together and oh yeah I killed someone two months ago when we were together. huh When was this because all that was shown was de sex but I guess he could have done this why elena was at school. I really felt that elena said it tonight I don't care what you do damon I love you no matter what. She is not the heroine that we all rallied behind people hate her don't understand her choices.
MY favorite scene steferine
No scene caught me off guard damon killing Aarons parents not shocking, damon killing uncle not shocking damon killing people without elenas knowledge for revenge weird plot but not shocking. Damon turning off his humanity because he cared about a friend horrible plot but not shocking.
I feel bad for Ian not really he gets all the fame and awards and sucky plots so he is not in too bad of shape.
Additional thoughts I am not sure what is going to happen because steferine just happened but they said stefen does not feel the same way back so does he break her heart or what. Does stefen go back to pining for elena. Uggh.

Well Well Well what an episode it was calmy intense...
Lets start with Mystic Falls Side
Stefan is trying to focus on keep Katherine Alive so he makes her write in a Journal. Her monologue hilarious especially ripping out the page because her hand hurts lol...
She sees right through with what he is trying to do which is channeling his energy onto her to avoid his own issues, so she calls Caroline for help.
Caroline complains about Damon not being boyfriend material and Stefan obviously is not in the mood to focus on that. Caroline gets back to her purpose there which is to have stefan face his fear and PTSD
She throws him in there and he starts to loose it..Stefan is freaking out while Caroline is looking for what to do next in her textbook and be grossed out at the fact katherine insinuated that Caroline and Stefan have hooked up and Katherine letting caroline know shes loosing out.
Katherine comes up with a plan to help stefan because she knows him so well. He wants to always help others before himself. So she puts herself in a situation where Stefan in order to save someone else which is her he has to put himself first to deal with his issues which is...
He is channeling his inner torture of the fact he has lost the love of his life to his own brother. He comes to finally realize what katherine is telling him while they have an intense 1 inch away stare off until caroline cockblocks on them haha.
Caroline then needs help with the safe because good riddins who helped her with getting the safe to the Salvatore Mansion lol?
Then we cut to Katherine and Stefan in the library. they chit chat get all close together while Stefan admits that he was dealing with his pain the wrong way especially about elena. He says he Needs to move on...
Katherine admits she doesnt always knows what she is doing neither and with that she gets all hot and heavy in his face and says "like now" and goes to kiss him.
As they kiss i realize I am not really okay with Katherine and Stefan hooking up. He just said he needs to move on but him making out with Katherine
he is moving 146 YEARS BACK! AND TO TOP IT OFF She looks just like Elena. I know its Elena looking more like katherine but you just realized you are torn up about elena so yea go ahead and make out with the girl who looks just like her...
Sorry but im not on board with it right now...Even though I must admit that the Safe scene was Hot lol I guess I liked the Angst of it all lol not the outcome
Caroline though! HILARIOUS REACTION i thought she was going to say on the phone that she heard katherine moaning stefan's name lmao but she left us with the O My GOD lol
Now Over to Whitemore Dungeon and stuff
Damon is locked away in the same place he was locked up over 50 years ago. Elena goes looking for Wes so she goes to Aaron and straight lies about Jamie while also giving him hints about things not seeming right.
Aaron is down because everyone around him dies.
Aaron walks into the house that Elena is not invited into but guess who owns the house? Aaron yup lol
Anyway Elena sees a photo of her father and Wes tells her he was one of the finest doctors of the society and then he injects her with vervaine
We find her in a cell right next to Damon and we see how he was tortured back in the day.
He was tricked by his uncle who called both Damon and Stefan to probably get locked up. Stefan came a shy to late just to see that his uncle was dead because of Damon but he never knew why...another moment of a misjusged moment. yea yea and then Elena says how Stefan will notice they are gone and come looking for them. Again neither of the two have realized what Stefan has been dealing with..but i get it they both on mission Augustine.
He keeps thinking of what he has went through and he promises Elena he will get her out. it wa a sweet moment
Damon says how they thought Stefan would rescue him when he was locked up the first time...and im just like really? Im sorry but in all these flashback scenes stefan and damon would interact like every fifty years...but i get it being locked up you can only hope so much for the people you know and love to save you.
Anyway hes locked up for about 5 years. He makes a friend named Enzo who had been locked up 10 years before that but seems still cool and collective. They talk they imagine how they will plan out their escape and fantasize about their revenge.
They finally come up with a plan. one of them will drink double the blood so when New years comes one can be strong enough to escape and help the other.
They rock paper scissors it and Damon wins. The time is right and he breaks his hand to then squeeze the crap out of whitemores eyes.
He starts killing everyone while the place goes up in flames. When he tries to get Enzo out, the cage is vervained and he cant get him out so he decides to save himself and with doing that he turns off his humanity so he can be able to walk away.
it was a tough thing for Damon to do but Logically speaking why Damon couldnt find the keys to open the door... i hate tvd logic
Anyway I dont judge Damon for leaving because he put himself first which is what Damon does. Damon sees it one way or the other there is no in between for him or i mean the patience to see the in between. He is impulsive its Damon, so no I see why he left.
it just sucked for Enzo ;/ It was his plan after all but we will get back to that...
Aaron finds out about his family history and Wes tells him his family did not die by an animal. After he Punches the crap out of Wes and snatches his special watch and a gun.
he goes to get answers from elena thinking shes the one who killed Meagan and that she has to know about his family who were killed by a vampire..he thinks its Elena but damon interrupts to say it was him all along.
Elena thinks he might be doing it to get the heat off of her but nope he is definitely not. This was his revenge to go and kill all whitemores except one so they can lead on the whitemore name so then he can go and kill them all over again and leave one alive. Revenge rampage on crack...Yep Damon is evil but its badass..sorry guys haha
And he says it with no remorse. He tells Elena "it wasnt pretty" and she said she wouldnt judge so she cant do it now just because he continued his revenge spree while they been dated..
He confesses the last whitemore he has killed was Sara who was Aaron's Aunt. that causes Aaron to shoot him in the face.
When Damon awakes he makes a snarky comment about that being well deserved but Elena is not in the cell. He screams out her name thinking he said he was going to get her out and he promised her that but she is no where to be found and she is strapped to a gernie right next to who? Enzo who is giddy as always singing a old tune.
So next week looks intense. Stefan finds himself to Aaron because I guess he does realize where the hell is Damon. Threatens to kill him and he wants his brother and elena. Stefan Angry? Me like hehe Cant wait to see the reunion between Damon and Enzo i wonder how that will go and i wonder if Enzo might understand?

AFTER WATCHING THE KATHERINE AND STEFAN SCENE FOR WHAT IT WAS I MUST SAY IT WAS HOT. ESPECIALLY WHEN HE JUST THROWS THE STICK AND LOOKS AT HER.

it was a tough thing for Damon to do but Logically speaking why Damon couldnt find the keys to open the door... That's exactly what I was thinking. He just killed the guy with the key and he was still dead on the floor the key must have been close!! And did anyone else find it intersting that Enzo put all his trust into Damon and Damon left him to save his own ass and now Elena is sitting in exactly the same cell as Enzo did.... If I would be her I'd be thinking twice about trusting Damon's vow to get her out of this. I am curious to see how Elena will take all of Damon's confessions. I bet she thought Damon had changed for her and was the good brother now. No way she expected him to still kill whole familytrees. I hope she wakes up soon I love the preview for next episode. Stefan getting really angry and fighting to get Elena and Damon out of this although they didn't care at all about him all summer long. That's my hero. Not sure what I think about Stefan and Katherine making out but it was HOT. I like caring Katherine but I wonder if she will still be like this once she will be saved from aging. |

I rated this show only a 2 because there was very little Stefan scenes. The show mainly focused on Damon. I would prefer a little more Stefan please.
Also the Stefan and Katherine scenes in the safe and by the fireplace were HOT!! |

Kiki we all know Damon wouldn't leave elena behind on purpose. I am assuming that Stefan finds out threatens aaron and wes and aaron leads him to Damon where Damon says they need to get Elena out and thats where they will work together. we just need to prepare for a possible cliffhanger of the sorts… it is the midseason finale.

I'm debating whether or not Stefan will actually save Elena...and Damon.
Finally, we are getting some action on TVD though I hate the fact that Caroline doesn't have a concrete story line. And where were Bonnie & Jeremy while this was happening? And how about Matt?
Okay back to Stefan, the "Savior". Dont get me wrong, I love Stelena, and they will always be my OTP. But right now, more than anything else, I want Stefan to be happy. And vamp Elena is such a pain in the ass that I don't want her anywhere near him. The whole Steferine moment wasn't so bad, because deep down I know that even though Stefan was in love with her once-upon-a-time, he never thought of it as "real". And at the end of the day, what Stefan and Elena shared for the first three seasons was his EPIC love. I'm kind of worried since they're both dopplegangers, and they are "drawn" to each other - and the fact that Kat has been acting all goody-goody after turning human - but I will always stand for Stelena. Always.

Obviously Caroline figures out elena is not where she is suppose to be alerts stefen and he goes to find them but how does he find them so fast and How will enzo treat Elena I feel that we were treated to enzo's feelings about love for reason this is most likely going to be the thing that saves elena and damon from being killed watch the fact that damon found love or something. Enzo either decides to forgive damon or has already I can see some kind of story like this unfolding or enzo unloads on everyone and no forgiveness is had and damon has to kill him and turns his humanity off again and elena then has decisions to make?? |
