I should have just used this video as my favourite OTP scenes - perfect! Its incredible how sad DE compares with SE moments. SE are so gentle, kind, loving and Elena and Stefan NEVER gave up on each other. DE pales in comparison. It reminds me of the prom episode when Damon forces the corsage onto Elena's arm. Damon's always violent and controlling and Damon and Elena NEVER have hope for each other instead they always believe the worst. Quite frankly even is SE don't end up as endgame I still have no doubt, as also stated by the show, that SE are the best couple and that Elena choosing Stefan is the best choice she's ever made.
