katvolley13, that's something I don't understand either... Many people (and even Stefan) say that Stefan made Damon turn into a vampire but if I remember the scene well, he just brought the girl and convinced Damon to drink from her, he told him not to fight it but he didn't force him to drink, he didn't force the blood down his throat, did he? I remember in season 2, when Elena was about to die in the sacrifice, Damon forced the vampire blood down her throat, she said she didn't want it but he used force to do it, didn't he? That's what I call "make someone turn into a vampire against their will"... But, I leave this open for discussion  Here are both scenes:

It doesn't even matter if Stefan forced Damon to turn into a vampire or not. Damon had the chance to take off his ring and walk into the sun at any given time. All Stefan did was to give Damon a 2nd chance to think about dying. And obviously Damon is happy to be a vampire now, isn't he so it was the right thing to do for Stefan - no matter if it was forced or not -

Well my point is I see that a lot about how horrible stefen is because he forced his brother to become a vamp and killed father. Now he did kill father but I am not going to charge him with first degree lol. I agree deb I know we are biased but Damon chose to drink from the girl.

Yes I have of course, lol. TBH, Ian looked a bit weary. I think he has lost track of the past storyline because he talked about Damon being compelled to love Kat when we all know that it was Stefan who was compelled. My take is that He doesn't really know that much plot in advance, maybe 3-4 eps ahead. I think there is definitely a huge roadblock coming soon for DE, Caroline foreshadowed this in her recent outburst to Elena so I think he is telling the truth when he says relationships are difficult in MF and nobody is happy for long. They wrapped the 100th EP a couple of weeks back and that is 5x11 ad we have seen 5x08 so 3-4 eps ahead in filming give or take? I think we are going to see a dramatic revelation concerning Damon and his connection to Elena from the past, probably through Grayson and this will cause a DE break up or severe blow to their relationship. My gut feeling is that whatever it is, it will be temporary and something else for there relationship to overcome. What do you think Debs?
I don't really know what to think. I remember when Ian said, in the beginning of season 4, that it would all be about Elena and Stefan vamp sex, Damon would get nothing. I believed him and look what happened  The way Ian talked, it was almost like DE would be over for good because he said something like, relationships don't last long in M.Falls and he was lucky to have her and that experience in his life... But, like you said, and I agree, he probably doesn't know much yet about episodes 12 and more so, probably, they will get back together. I also think that, we haven't seen enough of DE yet so I'm counting on DE being together till the end of this season. Elena will probably end this season alone and, in season 6, she's going to get close to both brothers and, in the end of season 6 (if it's the end of the show), shocking, she's again (  ) going to pick one... I just think that both of them deserve better than this, it's like Elena has a menu every season and she's like: "Today, it will be a little of Stefan" and, the following day, she's like "today I want Damon"  In all seriousness, I don't think there will be a S6. The writing for all characters has been at best, MEH! this new team of writers seem so disconnected to past seasons and I am going to give it til feb/march, if the plotholes and characterization does not improve then I am out. This goes for all characters, not just Damon for clarity. I am so fed up with the inconsistent characterization which is sacrificed on the alter of plot. Hence my lack of interaction here, I am bored with TVD. |

damonsgirl yoy should try the originals. I'm fine with tvd well I figured I'm with it until it ends.
