OK ok ok Im here to give my full reaction post haha
Now I liked this episode..Ill start off with:
Elena:I liked that we saw Elena writing in her journal again and still in her own way mourning Bonnie. It was nice to see. I also understand why she feels guilty about not realizing it sooner and why she has been dodging Damon but Damon is still her boyfriend so it kind of sucks she kept blowing him off. I really do not think he minded because he was so caught up on his plan to work with Silas...But why all the secrets?
It's crazy that last season most of the fandom were up in an uproar because Stefan sided with Klaus to find the Cure and didnt tell Elena and they were saying it was so messed up and yadadadada and blamed him for alot of things going on but Damon comes and does the same thing. I see why both brothers in their own situations did what they had to do but i just dont like the contradictions in the fandom.
Elena is doing her own thing and I like how she has decided to take on the Whitemore Investigation which she has let Damon know about. He looked a little jealous when she was looking in Aaron's direction. and I think
Anna mentioned Elena is naturally flirty..I kind of saw what you meant when she was interacting with Aaron.
AaronThroughout the whole episode I kept thinking how much he looked Like Prof. wes and then it was revealed he was the Professor's son and im like wow perfect casting. He is interesting. I wonder whats his thing. I want to know more about it and his role with his dad is.
Damon:Damon kind of bugged me this episode. Not the whole time just moments. His plan and realization of possibly sacrificing one witch for the other was ok. But did they not just want that to happen last season because all hell would break on earth with all the dead supernatural returning? So why side with Silas...
Why not side with Tessa instead who wants to get rid of Silas and keep the other side in tact and tell her to give them bonnie back?
Then he comes along and snaps Stefan's neck which I saw why it had to be done but he kind of kept that part to himself. Silas reads his mind to see Damon kind of liked doing it anyway. Am i going to be here upset because he snapped Stefan's neck? no Its the way Vampires knock each other out.
Then he comes and sacrifices Katherine "for the greater good" because not him nor Elena flinched on doing this. No hint of guilt nothing. I remember when they were killing klaus and the face stefan made. Like he felt what he was doing was wrong but it had to be done to keep everyone safe. There was nothing there. It was kind of cold .
It did remind me of Karma because she "died" the same way she killed Jeremy. I was waiting for Silas to snap her neck.
Katherine and Nadia
I loved Katherine this episode. from her starving and trying to get crumbs to bantering how she only goes to Paris for shoes. We all knew it was a high possibility that Nadia was Katherine's daughter but they almost through it off course when she made up the story about Katherine killing a woman for it.
Katherine as a human and as a Vampire is a Survivor. Im taking that was a Trait that was enhanced when she turned into a vampire. Her staking Nadia in mid day in public was crazy and awesome yet no one got up to help Nadia? Did she drag herself to an alley without no one noticing? lol
When she started confessing I was like yup! yup! yup! haha Thats Katherine's daughter. But Im interested in knowing who took in Nadia for her to still have the same last name as Petrova? Did they keep her in the family with another relative/
It also means that when Katherine was turned she was 24 years old? She had Nadia when she was 16 I believe and returned 8 years later to find her family slaughtered and went looking for her daughter. Thats kind of interesting.
I liked her and Nadia's bonding and Katherine's "Nice to Finally meet you" with Nadia's single tear. I was kind of scared at first i thought Katherine was going to sip Vervaine in her tea haha.
So Katherine full on Trusts the Salvatore Brothers. And Damon went right along and betrayed her and she begged and begged but he never gave in. She died and then she came back asking if she was in hell lol that was kind of funny but I wonder how does she come back and why is she not dead. I dont think she turns back into a vamp. Maybe her doppelganger blood saved her after all since it was mixed with the cure.
Silas
Silas Silas Silas...I like you with your Psychic Powers and Now he is a witch again So I wonder what type of powers we will be working with.
Tessa
I like Tessa alot. She a bit Psycho but I like her. She was on the search for her Talisman so she can make a locator spell to find the Anchor that hold the other side together.
I have a HUGE FEELING that ANCHOr is Possibly Amaya. Thats just me but I dont know...Also it was revealed the Travelers were the ones who killed Tessa..Maybe after she entombed Silas?
She is badass the way she ripped into Silas heart and said even though I cant kill you i Can disarm you haha and he went all grey looking and collasped.
Stefan
I like how Stefan is being portrayed and yet I dont like it. Its like an outsider viewing in on the gang but you can tell hes lost. Caroline has been helping him and they even shared a dance which was cute. What I dont get is the actual Hostility towards Damon. I dont know its the things he said to him are kind of the things the old Stefan would say. But I guess he just says what he sees.
I liked how he fooled Damon and broke his neck or did he just knock him out. I dont remember. Then he walks in on Silas and Tessa and Knocks out Silas haha. I was like go Steffy Punch yourself.
Caroline and Tyler
Ahhhh Caroline and Tyler. Their scene in the end was heartbreaking. I love when Caroline Cries because she does the UGLY CRY HAHA but she means it. Tyler's almost breaking down was sad too because its just his eyes that tell it all. It was sad but Im glad they finally breaking them up for now because this coming back leaving thing was not working for me.
I just dont understand the concept of bringing him in and out.
I definitely saw a great potential with them possibly crossing him over to The Originals to "Attempt" to take on Klaus. Might be the wolf helping the other guardian wolves of Hayley.
I understand Tyler is still upset with Klaus but come on...Your reason for Revenge the last time resulted in 12 hybrids being slaughtered and Klaus Drowning Carol to prove a point. Hayley was never touched for being part of this but Klaus was willing to let it go and call it even but Tyler continued to taunt Klaus
Klaus makes him Flee but then gives in to Caroline because he loves her and choose to leave her happy rather then his attempt at killing Tyler.
Tyler still feels the need to take something from Klaus which im assuming he might be kidnapping Hayley soon enough.
I see the potential in this story and hey if hes more useful on The Originals Keep in there for the time being.
Additional ThoughtsOverall episode was done well and I wonder whats going to happen with SIlas now that he is a witch. He is going to be looking for that Anchor and so is Tessa.
Katherine's situation is interesting and waiting to see more of her and Nadia's relationship and what exactly does Nadia want with Katherine. Was she just looking for her mother or revenge or is she working with the Travelers still?
I wonder if we going to meet more Travelers and if Matt's Knife has anything to do with finding what Tessa is looking for.
Whats going to happen with Prof. Wes and Jessie.
I think one of Professor Wes' experiments got loose and killed Meagan.
Thats it for now
