MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! Witches of East End Season 2 Gets Premiere Date--- Sunday, July 6, at 9/8c. ON LIFETIME!!!
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 7, 2014) – The second season of Lifetime’s thrilling series Witches of East End (#WitchesofEastEnd) returns this summer, beginning Sunday, July 6, at 9 pm ET/PT with an ensemble cast headlined by Emmy Award-winner Julia Ormond (Temple Grandin, Mad Men), Jenna Dewan Tatum (American Horror Story), Rachel Boston (In Plain Sight), Mädchen Amick (Mad Men, Damages), Eric Winter (The Mentalist) and Daniel DiTomasso (CSI). Christian Cooke (Magic City) joins the cast as a new series regular this season.
Based on Melissa de la Cruz’s New York Times best-selling novel, the series centers on the Beauchamp family, where in season one sisters Freya (Dewan Tatum) and Ingrid (Boston) discovered they are witches with ancient magical powers. With the help of their mother Joanna (Ormond) and aunt Wendy (Amick), they learned how to cultivate their craft and work together to defeat unearthly enemies seeking revenge on their family, while keeping their abilities a secret from the town.
This season, with the portal to Asgard open, what comes through will forever change the lives of the Beauchamps. Darkness surrounds East End as a new stranger (Cooke) arrives. Joanna is still weak with poison in her blood as the Beauchamps search desperately for a cure. With the death of Penelope (Virginia Madsen), Killian (DiTomasso) and Dash’s (Winter) warlock powers return.
Christian Cooke (Magic City) joins the cast as a new series regular for Season 2, playing a stranger whose arrival brings darkness to East End.

SPOILERS:
Question: Can we please get a scoop on Witches of East End Season 2? —Shuaib
Ausiello: If at all possible, the ladies of East End are upping the sex factor in Season 2, but I’ve got a surprise for you, Shuaib: The most surprising hookup on the July 6 premiere will come courtesy of Little Miss Key, herself. (Yes, I’m talking about Ingrid.) The who, what, where and why of her encounter are all pretty mind-blowing.
Please tell me that Killian is alive on Witches of East End! — Kitra
Killian's fate will be revealed quickly in Season 2 — and where he ends up is not as important as who he ends up with. But the Beauchamp clan has more important issues to deal with, including the fact that they've yet to find a cure for Joanna, who is progressively getting worse after being poisoned by Penelope. Though whatever (or whoever!) came through that door from Asgard could be Joanna's savior, Wendy believes it will be her undoing. Let the catfights begin!OMG!!! Please don't tell me Killian and Ingrid hook up!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!! He does hook up with Ingrid!!! In this promo around 42 seconds that's Ingrid's bedroom that he's in and her touching him when he's yelling because she's got curly hair!!!

Power and Portals: Prep for the Return of Witches of East End
Witches of East End Season 2 debuts Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
Darkness is rising.
With the portal to Asgard now open, darkness surrounds East End, and the Beauchamps will face an evil greater than they've ever known. The magic, the visions, the potions and the plot all become darker and more sinister in Season 2 of this family drama.
Secrets will be revealed.
The Beauchamp family mysteries of Season 1 will start to unravel. But the secrets revealed only create new mysteries for Joanna, Ingrid, Freya and Wendy, as each finds herself surrounded by ominous shadows, including mysteriously hazy memories of the night the portal opened.
Love is a battlefield.
When we last saw Freya, she'd left Dash at the altar and missed confessing her love to Killian by mere minutes. But not all is lost for the youngest and most emotional Beauchamp, or her dashing suitors—her little love triangle is about to explode into a new—and bigger—shape. If you thought Dash and Killian were swoon-worthy, wait until you meet the romantic possibilities.
A glimpse of the past.
The witches’ mysterious past plays a big role in the revelations of Season 2. Expect a gripping series of flashbacks into each of their previous lives.
Get ready for some new faces.
There are some new folks in town. They may or may not have come through the portal, and they may or may not be welcome. There will be some thrilling plotlines surrounding these new characters—particularly a tall, dark and handsome stranger.
Warlock powers activate.
The Beauchamps aren't the only spell-casters in East End anymore. After the death of their mother, Dash and Killian Gardiner discover their own powers, which will get stronger by the day. Major magic is in the cards for these young warlocks, and they will become a force to be reckoned with in their own right.
Death is near (very near).
Until now, Wendy Beauchamp took pride in the variety of deaths she has endured. But in Season 2, she must come to grips with the fact that she’s on her last life, and must make the most of it. Death is on the horizon this season, but is it who you think?
