Thanks wednesday. I am glad you approve. You have no idea how much it pissed me off. I mean it is so bad that I have started a series of gifset parallels between tvd characters and their btvs/ats counterparts. Stefan/Angel is the only one I have finished though. |

It doesn't get any worse than those two! I second this! I don't care if Buffy has been over for 10 years, it's still my fave show! But yeah, Buffy and Angel, I can't. When I watch Becoming I still cry like a baby. And that episode, "Amends" on the hill, is my fave ep of the whole series, I can't even count the amount of times I have watched it. @la, enjoyed the whole post, but I'm with wednesday; the para on Joss jumped right off the screen for me, we definitely have every word in common. Someone should have told me that watching Buffy and Angel would be the template for a future show. (who knew?) But honestly that is the main reason why I started watching TVD, because of the similarities between Buffy and a new vampire show on the CW. (Well, that and Paul Wesley, I have been a fan for a long time.) I think it's part of why I love the show so much, but there is a line. It just irks me sometimes. |

I would love a Buffy thread! I wanted to do one too. I'm just finishing up s6 of Buffy and s4 of Angel - I know I'm so behind! I already know what happens at the end. It sort of hard not to given the show has been off the air for so long. i'm even more behind. Im at the end of; S1 Angel and S4 of Buffy |

A thing I have been pondering about when Jer kicked Silas' a**.
When Silas drove the branch through himself and also through Jeremy who was holding him in a grip from behind, WHY WASN'T JEREMY SERIOUSLY WOUNDED???
I mean he healed up real fast. The other hunters fell dead like flies after a serious injury.And that wasn't just a scratch with a needle, he ran the branch through Jeremy,so what is Jer? Besides that he is a hunter and a came back from the dead?

moshe12 I was actually wondering the same thing. He didn't seem to have any issues, or even still be in pain. Not sure what's going on there. Maybe there was some kind of residual effect when Bonnie brought him back, but idk. Of course it could also just be bad writing, lol. Kind of like the issue of Damon never telling Elena that Silas was Stefan, she just knew who it was.

It'd have to be an oversight unless Jeremy now has accelerated healing. None of the Vampire members of the gang were there to give him some blood to heal so either he's just shrugging it off or it's just whatevers on the writers' part to not even pay no nevermind to it. And anyone think the Travelers' thing is moving kind of quick? We get their name this past episode, we find out what they did to Matt, they confronted Silas and...betrayal within their ranks already  We're on episode 2. Ok, it gets things moving quicker on the story front but I guess I expected a bit more mystery/shadow-play from them before really coming out. |

What I came up with for Jeremy's "ints-ta-heal" was residual effects of Damon's blood. Gotta be some perk for getting killed. ) |

MAybe Jer is not only a hunter but in addition another entity, some kind of angel. Just a thought...

We're on episode 2. Ok, it gets things moving quicker on the story front but I guess I expected a bit more mystery/shadow-play from them before really coming out.
Well if you do somehow get a chance to watch it later, let me know what you think.
