I loved it, loved to see my TVD world again after such a ong hiatus!!! I loved the entire episode.
I loved it when Jer punched that moron that bullied him, hahaha, that was so good. Bullying my Jeremy indeed...snort!!!
I didnt like that yet another parent was killed , R.I.P. Rudi Hopkins. I didn't like Silas abusing Liz Forbes and that Tyler quit on Caro.
When Damon saved Jeremy and held his head to his face. That was the bet scene for me.
Silas scared me, in fact I felt all cold when he talked with Damon and Jeremy.
I didnt understand what happened to our Mattie Blue Eyes, his beautiful Blue eyes turned all black. That was so scary.
My fav quote: I don't get it together quite as exactly as he said it but I loved it when Damon said "Don't you die on me Jeremy or I will kill you myself"
All in all I am very happy with the TVD premiere and watching away The Originals as I write this.

Ok, so the episode was alright. I didn't think it was great, but definitely not as bad as last season, so I have hope for this season. Unfortunately, the CW went all crazy during the ep, so there were some things I missed. I do agree that many of them don't exactly seem themselves. Damon has never really been happy before, so maybe this is what he is like without all the hatred and anger, idk. I do think that they did good with keeping some of the characters as themselves. Bonnie and Jeremy for one. And am I the only one who truly felt for Bonnie at the end. She had to watch, not able to do anything as her dad was killed. Poor girl. And Jeremy clocking that guy. Just- yeah. I really like Matt and Rebekah, even if it was only for like 5 minutes. Not sure what's going with Matt now though, that should be interesting. I love the Stelena moments, even though he is at the bottom, he is still fighting for her, and it warms my SE heart. Nothing super special really stuck out for me in this ep, but I loved Caroline, as always. Don't really have any huge dislikes, apart from the obvious. I think my fave scene would have to be when Stefan was about to give in and turn it off, but then he decides to keep fighting for Elena. And as much as I really stick to my opinion of him needing to move away from her, and just be happy- the shipper in me was fawning over it. Fave quote- easy! "Yes I do. His name is Tyler" Just leave me in my little Forwood bubble. As for Tyler's vm, I have a whole thing about that in the Tyler thread. I'm not gonna go into that here, but yeah. I still back him up 100%! All in all, I am just glad that the show is back. I'm looking forward to next week.

What did you like?\I absolutely loved this episode. It felt fresh brand New! • Elena and Caroline heading off to college was nice to watch • Caroline this episode was great. I loved her paranoid freakiness came into play haha • Katherine although human and running is still Katherine. Her slicing Silas' face AND then making Jeremy Crash CRAZY. like she said she is a survivor. • Stefan's hallucinations I liked alot because everyone assumed it will automatically be Elena and it was Damon he was visiting in his dream. • Paul Wesley brings a whole new dynamic to Silas and its crazy how he can be Stefan, Ripper Stefan, No humanity Stefan and Now Silas. Oh yea and him calling Damon out on really thinking Stefan was gone for good and be deluded gets extra points in my book. • Matt and Rebekah although it was short it was cute and sexy, I wonder what would have had happened if he went to New Orleans with her. • Caroline and Jeremy still Team Stefan... I dig it • The Damon and Jeremy scene at the end i liked. When Damon thought he was dead. He was about to freak. what did you dislike?
• Besides having to skim through the Delena makout summer fest everything else was cool. I honestly didnt even dread that since they hyped it up all summer. • Oh yea Damon sending Jeremy with Katherine the person who killed him! to protect her urgh! You can tell he was dealing with that while driving. • Damon not telling Elena What was your favorite scene?
Favorite scene would have to be Caroline freaking out over the new roommate lol
What Shocked you the most?Megan dying so quickly and also her mysterious connection to Elena's dad. Nadia giving back the Gilbert Ring to Matt and wondering what the hell they did to him. Im assuming she is part of the possible witch story that will be brewing up this season. Damon willing to change Katherine so quickly What was your favorite quote?

Caroline's crying scenes always get to me. It broke my heart to see her at the end. I wanted Elena to jump off her bed and hug her. ;/

Yeah, I cried when Caroline cried, I always cry when she cries. It just gets to me. But I too loved Matt/Rebekah. But I do agree that it did seem fresh and new, maybe that's why I was so neutral about it. Because it does seem new. And what's funny is I think it was Caroline Dries who said that they are very aware of how shows change when their characters head to college, and they didn't want to do that. But I think it's a really good thing. I am looking forward to what is to come.

What did you like? Damon & Elena happy couple moments Seeing Caroline & Elena going to college All Bonnie & Jeremy scenes Damon finding Jeremy after Katherine crashes the car - saving him and holding him close Silas!Stefan was so creepy! Paul Wesley really is rocking it this season - can't wait to see more! Matt/Rebekah Jeremy convincing Damon that Stefan wasn't really Stefan but was Silas The hallucination conversation between Stefan and Damon what did you dislike? Killing Bonnie's dad, especially right in front of her and she can't do anything! Silas's treatment of Liz Whatever happened with Matt after Nadia gave him the Gilbert ring back - scared the crap out of me! Having no idea what was up with Megan the roommate. How did she know about vampires/vervain? What is the\ connection with Elena's dad? Is she going to be a sibling or something?? What was your favorite scene? sandycub definitely looks like Matt will be busy this season with his own storyline. I hope it connects to the full hang issue eventually

What did I like? Matt and Rebekah scenes. The Katherine scenes were just OK and got worse when she left Jeremy. The Delena scenes were mostly physical and stelena shined through.
What did I disliked was just about everything else. The episode had no surprises like it use to. The originals ending was shocking. It is like tvd has forgot. I will see this through but it is not what it once was.

What did I like? Everything Paul Wesley did. This guy is just amazing. And I love the szene where Caroline is freaking out and Elena suggested party :-) May I borrow this gif What I didn't like: Damon suddenly caring about Jeremy? Never ever. It still felt like he was scared to fail in his babysitterduties and making Elena angry. And the first 5 min was Shades of Grey. It's just not my cup of tea The Stelena moment was cute to watch but it was only Stefan's imagination. Who knows if Elena would have said the same |

I am no Damon fan, and that's putting it lightly. But I really do think that he is trying. Yes, I do think that it's mostly for Elena, given he never gave a damn about anyone else before- but at least he is trying. I do think it's genuine. I don't have massive anger and aggression for everything he does this season, at least not yet. So we will see how that unfolds. Does this mean I think I will become a Damon fan? no. There's too much bad, but maybe tolerate a little more, yes.
