Yeah that moment last night with Liv and the same blanket Caroline used, well, I didn't like that. That's Caroline's blanket! She did that scene so much better.  Parkwood's pretty good, can't complain, but maybe you're on to something @la and AnnaIt wasn't just the blanket. The entire thing was replicated, right down to using Tyler&Caroline's theme music! I was actually talking to Anna about this just last night. In the scene, Tyler doesn't look anywhere near as comfortable as he was in Season 2, and that was right after he transformed and got shot, so the guy was anything but comfortable. But his body language, just looks like he feels awkward.       I have a lot of issues with Parkwood, that I won't go into here, but yeah. I need to have faith! |

They really do make a great couple. They had some incredible scenes and some character growth moments together. It would have been nice that through all of Caroline's ridiculous Stefan mopping that Tyler would be the one that comforts her as he knows her as well as anyone could and would know how to make her feel better about things...and to calm her the eff down about Stefan.

They really do make a great couple. They had some incredible scenes and some character growth moments together. It would have been nice that through all of Caroline's ridiculous Stefan mopping that Tyler would be the one that comforts her as he knows her as well as anyone could and would know how to make her feel better about things...and to calm her the eff down about Stefan. So I know that I am incredibly late to the party reply to things like this months after the fact, but I have recently lost my love for the show. I've tried not to give up, but this show is making it really hard. However, I have to agree with you there. If there is one person who should be involved in the entire Liz situation, it's Tyler. He knows exactly what she is going through right now, and the writer's seem to have forgotten how good of friends Tyler and Caroline were, and should still be. Even after the mess last season, they still had each other's backs with Tyler saving her from Nadia, and Caroline fighting for him with Julian. It's just really aggravating that they seem to have forgotten all about it. No, I'm not bitter at all. sigh. |

What the hell, writers...these are two people deeply connected. and even when he came back from the dead Caroline was the one to greet and embrace him, but this season...we get nothing. Not even a single meaningful friendship moment. The writers have forgotten about so many core friendships on this show for the sake of romantic ships only. |

That's the really frustrating thing, is they opened the season showing Caroline and Tyler in a friendly relationship. He was a part of the hounding her to get her to come back to college. They set the season up by making it clear that they had maintained their friendship, and then it was all just dropped. The only scenes they have had together are the phone calls in 6x01, that tiny little scene at the watering hole in 6x03 and the friendsgiving episode where Tyler proceeded to ignore her through the whole thing. I'm just so frustrated because Forwood was my Brotp long before they were my OTP. I don't understand why Tyler can be so involved with her coming back to school, but not with any of the stuff she's going through with her mom. It doesn't make any sense. |

After all, he's already killed Stefan once I would love to say that I think you're right, but I fear that they are about to send him away again. So I just don't see that happening, and I am so upset about it. I think this is the perfect opportunity for Tyler to say to Caroline, 'hey, I know what I put you through when I left, and I know I haven't been there for you with all of this stuff with your mom, and I'm sorry.' but I just don't think it's going to happen. And it completely breaks my heart, because that's exactly what should happen. And in a perfect world, this whole thing with Stefan and Caroline would really get his attention, because he has issues with Stefan as it is. I'm just really upset about everything. LOL about that last bit, bc that wasn't really Tyler. But I get what you're saying. haha |

Am i missing something? , I know it wasn't actually Tyler but he still may have muscle memory from pulling Stefan's heart from his chest. |
