Is it me, or did Matt get a little bit hotter after this last episode? He totally kicked ass. I don't know how he knew the spell to call a Traveler forth. If I recall, he'd never heard the actual incantation. Nadia just shouted at Gregor to "come forth," or something like that. Maybe it's just a slight plot hole and I'm making something out of nothing, or maybe there's something to it. If Matt has a passenger in him, I really hope it's one of the ones that Caroline Dries said wouldn't be on Markos' side, unless she was just talking about Julian and his wife. Julian is currently being held prisoner at Tyler's house and he's in a hybrid body, and his wife was seen in the promo for the next episode possibly helping Stefan and Elena escape. Back to Matt, I was glad to read that he'll be getting more screen time in Season 6 because there will be less characters in Mystic Falls. He's supposed to even get his own love story. I don't know if that's still the plan. I hope he doesn't get stuck with another vampire, though, unless he gets back together with Elena. As fun as Matt is to look at when he gets dark, he has a problem where he's attracted to evil women.
Another inconsistency in the latest episode was that Matt said, "I've seen this before" when the Travelers started removing Tyler from his body. That doesn't make sense. Gregor wouldn't have had to be called forth in Matt's body if Matt had gotten the same treatment that Elena and Tyler did. Maybe there really is a passenger in him, and if he can speak so freely about what he's seen and no one will even look at him funny, is it possible that everyone knows that he has a passenger in him and they're ignoring it? If that's the case, then could other major characters have passengers in them, and how many people are aware of it and pretending it isn't happening? Again, I could be blowing a couple of sentences out of proportion, but if I'm right and one or more beloved characters are possessed, what else could their friends do besides pretend it isn't happening and try to adjust accordingly? There aren't any daggers around to fix the problem. I am pretty sure, though, that the Mikaelson family had pretty much one of every kind of mystical weapon. Maybe an Original or someone claiming to work for them will show up in the season finale with a dagger. Another thought that's crossed my mind is that if there's a passenger in Matt, it could be Kol. That would explain why Nathaniel Buzolic didn't make an appearance in an episode of The Originals in which Mikael was attacking Klaus' baby. That should have drawn Kol out. The only problem with the theory of Kol being in control of Matt's body is that it would have been a result of Matt giving Kol his ring or something, which would have meant that Matt sacrificed himself. I don't see why Matt would do something that extreme just to pass along information.
