Seeing Stefan having fun and helping Caroline was worth it for this episode. I'm not totally sold because of the caveat that Liz asked Stefan to do exactly those things. It's still a little blurry where the line is for Stefan. If his desire to take care of Caroline as a friend morphs into romantic love, it will be a sweet love, a caring love, and the two actors have genuine chemistry. With all the grief and loss on the show at the moment, the Stefan/Caroline scenes were a bright spot last night.  I still have a hard time imagining a sex scene between them though.  Maybe a hot kiss will help?? What do you think jennifer, was it hot enough for you? Yeesh, I didn't think so... I wanted it to be, but I couldn't see their facial expressions to get any sense of passion! So frustrating! LOL, not exactly a hot kiss. Luke-warm tentative kisses? My only thought was, "well, that was friendly enough that the two can always turn back." If this moves forward to sex scenes....  Stefan looks happy, that's good. Still a little weird... |

The frame for the kiss was a day of heightened emotionalism charged by alcohol, as was the situation with them last week. I think there was a declaration on Caroline's part -- "we both know I don't hate you." When Stefan said "Go for it" he was not really responding with a romantic frame of equivalent weight to her declaration IMHO. He was confirming that he did not want her to hate him, but it seemed more like an invitation of a more physical nature? |

Yes but they are playing both ways the kiss appeared magical for caroline not so much for stefen or ir could be that they are going to go with things are awesome lets make this work you know cd type writing.

I really thought the kiss was well written and very sincere. Mutual and pure between them. It was natural like how a kiss would happen if you have been friends and the moment was there.
