Kiki I knew the house looked super familiar! And the crazy thing is that was suppose to be the old mayors house from when they first moved to nee Orleans. And the mansion Marcel lives in was their home when they lived there

it was really good I liked the relationship between Rebekah and Hayley. All those stupid fans that hate the pregnancy can shut up. I even loved the scenes between Hayley and Klaus.

*Clap*
What an episode. Plenty of story and character development to go around, especially for Klaus and Bekah and how messed up their history/relationship is. I'm also surprised that he raised Marcel. Didn't think he met him that young and then took him in. Bekah helped train him and fell for him and despite Klaus' orders, they tried to pursue something. Bekah gets daggered for 52-54 (?) years and wakes up to learn that instead of pulling the dagger out of her, Marcel took immortality.
Klaus isn't just mad that Marcel got everything he aimed for. Klaus is mad because Marcel took what they built and made it his own (the 'M' standing for 'Mikaelson', not 'Marcel') and after they ran, thinking he was dead, he never sought them out but stayed and took over their work instead. That really gets to Klaus and he wants what is rightfully his family's and what they built.
I did love the moments between Klaus and Hailey and Hailey and Bekah. Klaus is showing that he cares for the child and seems to be more and more caring of Hailey as we go little by little. Hailey giving Bekah the daggers was a great gesture so Bekah doesn't have to worry about Klaus daggering her again but that seems to be out of mind now since they seem united in wanting Marcel brought down after Bekah found out his secret weapon: Davina. Tossed Bekah around like a rag dog and wiped her mind. Bekah is concerned now for Elijah who is in Marcel's custody, specifically in the same room with Davina, and she's rightfully so as Marcel is now looking for a way to kill Originals. He has a problem with more than 1 being in town and now with Bekah showing up to bump that number back to 2, he's trying to deal with the issue as soon as possible.
I love that Klaus has this entirely long, crazy plan and is also on board for whatever it takes to get Elijah back with his sister.
I don't think Camie got wiped by Marcel. A regular Vampire can't overwrite an Original's compulsion, no? So wouldn't Camie remember everything?
Gah, wish Kol was still alive cause the show is off to a good start and it'd be interesting to see how he'd work into all this (guess we have flashbacks for that). Really glad we get something in the TVD universe built around the characters/town, not a relationship.

Sorry it took me so long to get over here, it's been a hell of a week. But I really liked this episode. I am really kind of surprised how much I am liking the Originals. The baby plot doesn't bother me at all, if it's done right it could be very good. Speaking of, interesting theory Anna. I'm not sure if I quite buy into it at this point, but we will see. It could be really interesting. I don't have a lot to say since I am not completely invested in this show yet, but one thing that did kind of irk me was Marcel. I actually like Marcel, and I loved the scene where he killed the girl because she betrayed her friend. But after watching the whole episode, now that scene irks me, because it's very much what he did to the Mikaelson's. So idk. I liked Rebekah and Hayley's friendship. I just wish that Kol could be a part of this as well. But overall, I did like it.

Am I the only one or is someone else having a feeling about chemistry between Hayley and Elijah?

I would like to see Marcel trying to kill Klaus, that ain't happening, bc if Klaus dies Marcel kicks the bucket as well and along that all our TVD vampires. So if they (Marcel and his witch bit**) find out how to kill an Original, the only lives in danger are ELIJAH and BEX.

so i was thinking about this past episode and was wondering what klaus had said to rebekah about the guys she has dated. She said that klaus never thought none of them were ever good enough and he would kill them or threaten them. the thing is Klaus never threatened stefan. he actually cared for stefan as a brother and i think he would had left them to be together if it wasnt for his father running into town to mess things up.
