debbie, Yea, that's it....it's handy when you want to respond to a post on another page...... You can also edit inside the box and delete leaving only what you want to reply too. The other method to get someone attention is what I did in to box you quoted by tagging your screen name. Rest up more school tomorrow. lol

Moshe thank you for posting this..I'm the newest member of this website but an old member of vampirediaries.net As a delena fan go easy on me! hahaha...welcome here ... I am not the biggest shipper anyways, of course I liked Stefan and Elena for 3 seasons, but as the writers chose to change that, Delena happened, ok ...life goes on. I also liked Forwood and I adore Beremy. And look where they are now. split up or dead. There are things I like about Damon, there are things that I can't stand about him. Or let me put it this way: I am TeamTVd and Stelena by default Cheers. I'll say I didn't care for the triangle. I liked Damon early on and didn't think much of Stefan (thought negative of him with the way he kept everyone on edge about Damon despite his own past). As Damon pined more and more for Elena's attention instead of letting things be with her and Stefan, I grew to dislike his character more and more, especially these past 2 seasons when they got together. Stefan actually had his moments where I liked him in these previous 2 seasons but it feels like all those times are rushed and done with just to get back to Elena. I loved his phase with Becka pre-island and loved what we got of him being memory wiped but as I said, none of it lasted. I loathe Elena and don't think she deserves either brothers' attention or time yet she's graced with it in spades. Neither one can really have a relationship away from her without her getting jealous or maybe that was exclusive to the Becka scenarios. I loved Damon and Rose and what little we got of him and Becka that didn't come off as using her. I loved Stefan and Becka near the end of what they had. I liked what I saw of crazy Tessa with Stefan even. Meh. The show does a shoddy/bang up job with relationships anyways. They ruin what's good or rush em and force couples apart way too often over petty crap (I'm still befuzzled over the Jeremy-Ghost Anna-Bonnie thing; Jeremy keeping it from Bonnie, trying to carry on a secret relationship and then Bonnie avoiding the conversations about it and such). For a show built on a triangle, it's horrible with maintaining relationships in a meaningful way and having believeable characters that are involved. No way in the bloody 9th dimension of Hell would a sane, functioning person put up with Elena/this triangle mess as long as the brothers and this group of friends have.

No way in the bloody 9th dimension of Hell would a sane, functioning person put up with Elena/this triangle mess as long as the brothers and this group of friends have. Let me put it this way...I really liked Elena in season 1 and 2 and even for a few episodes of season 3, but then she began to annoy me increasingly. Meanwhile I just can't stand her anymore. Funny that you mention it...the most recent rewatch of season 1+2 showed me that I actually liked Damon in those 2 seasons, loved his oneliners, his cheek etc. Stefan was the good guy, but one who was hiding a bloody past, a secret or two. Well in season 3 the secret was out...Rippppahhh!!! Blood addict etc. and it took Stef a while and a whole journey to controll and come clean with his skeletons in the closet. Damon and Rose were good together, even Andie Star and Damon were good together imo. But Elena and Damon.MEH!!! I don't see/feel the chemistry, I feel like a forcefed goose every time they try to spoonfeed us DE. It's always the same psycho babble and always the same twist, and partly words which BTW she also said to Stef in exact same formulation. strange though, bec in season 1+2 I felt chemistry between Damon and Elena and Stefan and Elena. I don't want either brother together with her. As for relationships Alaric/Jenna were good together...Jenna killed off. Caro and Ty I liked together...seperated! Bonnie and Jer my fav couple, torn apart...yet again! But I don't focus on the relationships, the couples. I try to concentrate on the storyline (which wasn't very good this season, but it wasn't that bad either). I think the show needs to end after season 6 with an "epic" conclusion.

Question is, does learning 'base/traveler' magic need an adept/potentially powerful Witch or no? We know Bonnie and Davina are powerful. Bah, I guess I'll watch TO and TVD in tandem then =\ I think a witch who got her power taken away just has to be motivated enough to learn to practice a different kind of magic. Then I guess controlling it becomes a different story altogether. I'm not sure that Davina would be messing with Mikael and dark objects if she wasn't drunk on power. The problem with this, which was addressed on TVD when Jeremy stated a desire to kill Damon because he's suddenly a full-blown Hunter again, is that magic done by witches who don't answer to spirits is still considered witch magic. If the New Orleans coven ever loses their spirits, they should be thankful that there aren't any travelers around anymore to undo their magic because then they might have a hard time practicing magic at all.

I wonder what would happen if a minor character from The Originals crossed over onto The Vampire Diaries. For instance, what if Elena transferred to another college and ran into Cami, who also can't go home? I know that Charles Michael Davis, the actor who plays Marcel on TO, only said that he wanted to be on TVD sometime, but I would like to see if Stefan or Damon ever ran into him when they were in and out of New Orleans.
Also, since Davina is an adolescent, she would probably have an easier time living in Mystic Falls than in New Orleans. She would have a chance at a normal life where she gets to go to school and have a boyfriend. The most likely candidate that I can think of is Jeremy. He would want to keep her safe. On TO, all Davina does is take care of vampires who bring trouble down on themselves by starting wars.

Doubt she'd have it easier by much, if at all, if she got involved with the gang in any capacity and it'd be the same crap, different place/group of people. They're poison. If any of the Original characters have an investment in her (still not caught up), they'd likely be visiting MF themselves to check up on her and even that would probably escalate/spur a whole new conflict. With as much power as she has, she should be comfortable in being able to pick and choose who she helps and on her terms but we know how Vampires love to threaten. Meh, Vampires are an odd bunch, pissing off every other species and causing conflict with them (attempted genocide of Werewolves, the use of Witches and trying to regulate them even).

I am currently in season 4 and there was this one episode where rebekah compelled stefan, elena and caroline about the cure. Then rebekah asked stuff about damon and elena and found out that elena and damon were sleeping together. Rebekah asked stefan if he was jealous or hurt and stefan said yes. My point is how did stefan get emotionally hurt when klaus compelled him to turn his humanity off?

Random non-sequitor: You know who was really good with Damon? Matt's mom, Kelly Donovan. They really clicked in 1x16.

The guy was an adult who'd seen a little of the world and fought in a war before getting turned. He went through the the disappointment of betrayal by a more powerful woman. He's past a relationship with a teenage girl. I preferred Rose, too. She knew how to tell him 'no' when needed. Damon needs lines drawn in the sand to keep him in check. Elena wasn't up for the challenge he presented. As an aside, I sort of wanted to see what Liz would do with him.

For all the crap people spew at Elena and her relationship with Damon, they tend to leave out one important fact: she's a teenage girl! And because she's a teenage and not a grown woman, she's going to make mistakes. A lot of them! Damon is the one that should know better. He's the real "adult" (using that term lightly) in the relationship.
