BEST OF 2013
Best TV Show:SPN
Introducing the Men of Letters to Supernatural seemed to breathe new life into the series last season, and after season 8 ended on a high note with "Sacrifice," season 9 got off to a pretty strong start (an episode or two aside), and its fall finale ended with tragedy (RIP Kevin!), devastation, and more questions, with a storyline that could put this show on this list for 2014.
Locking Crowley up Hannibal Lecter-style was ingenious and ended up being just what it was expected to be in terms of entertainment value. While one brother keeping a secret from the other is nothing new for the Winchesters, the show handled Dean's guilt and concern and Sam's suspicions well and instead of the brothers splitting up at the end of the fall finale, Gadreel was in control. And as for Castiel, he couldn't remain powerless for long, and it was good to see that addressed in the first part of the season rather than stretching it out because they now how even more to explore with him.

Who would have guessed back in 2005 that Supernatural would still be running so many years later as the sole survivor of The WB, and that it would still be this popular?
That's exactly what has happened, though, with viewers as invested as ever in the adventures of Sam and Dean Winchester and their angel friend Castiel. There may be those who threaten to boycott if their "one true pairing" doesn't happen, or if one brother is favored over the other, yet those same people always seem to keep watching and they keep coming back.

I don't understand? Who is the OTP in Supernatural? Believe it or not some people want Dean & Cass together which I find because I don't see it! They are like brothers for crying out loud! Just no!

A little weird given the writers have given both of them story lines as having had (and enjoyed) sex with women. If they were presented to us as homosexuals then I could understand but ...I think the term delusional applies.

Castiel is a pure being with a lot of things to learn about our world and Dean is the one steady presence in his life. He often fought against everything he believed to back Dean up and is always coming back to him. That's pure love. I'm not saying that I ship them because I also see their relationship as of brothers, but I can see where people are coming from.

The way you are describing it then I would have to say that Dean and Sam are the OTP over Dean and Cas. Dean picks Sam over Cas all the time.

DESCRIPTION "FIRST BORN" 9X11
TIM OMUNDSON ("PSYCH") GUEST STARS AS CAIN --- Looking to reclaim his place as King of Hell, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) asks Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help finding "The First Blade," the only blade that can kill Abbadon (guest star Alaina Huffman). Knowing he owes Crowley a favor for helping Sam (Jared Padalecki), and also wanting Abaddon dead himself, Dean reluctantly agrees and the two set off on a road trip. However, Dean and Crowley are completely unprepared when they find out who has the blade - Cain (guest star Omundson), the first son. Meanwhile, Sam is back at the bunker with Castiel (Misha Collins) who notices there is some leftover grace inside Sam. If they can extract it, they can use the grace to track Gadreel. The only problem is the procedure may do permanent damage to Sam. John Badham directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson (911).

Dean's facial expression was priceless. Gotta love Jensen!

The person I loved Dean with was Jo! Yes, I never understood why they took her out of the picture. When 6th season started with Dean settling down with that mom, I kinda got pissed off. First, because I never thought there was chemistry there (maybe that was the point ) and second, because I missed Jo.
