That is so unbelievable no actress performance is close to her. Prove it! Tell me about it Kat. Can't say I'm really surprised. It's because of the genre & network it's on. But I agree not one of those even comes close to what she pulled off on that show. In all the articles I've read on the web today, they said it's the biggest snub of the Emmy's & I quite agree!

The Orphan Black team is "feeling loved, not snubbed," to quote a recent tweet, despite series lead Tatiana Maslany coming away from this year's Emmy nominations empty-handed. "It's nice our show gets more publicity out of "the "snub."Hopefully people go like, Oh who are they talking about...?" Plus the series has enjoyed "insane support from fans groups such as The Clone Club and the The Clonesbians, says Jordan Gavaris (akaFelix).
Comic-Con update about S2
Orphan Black, and Maslany's many beloved clones, will return for its ten-episode second season in April 2014, with production starting up again on Sept. 23. So yes, that's an eight-month wait. Go on, take a minute to cry/scream/punch a pillow. We'll wait.
At least we were given some juicy scoop to make up for the clone drought we're about to experience: Executive producer John Fawcett revealed it's likely Maslany will be playing even more characters next season, saying, "We do like our clones! I don't think anyone would be surprised if we unveiled a couple of new clones in season two. I don't think that's letting the cat out of the bag too much."
The producers also addressed the possibility of doing a Beth-centric flashback episode, you know, prior to her jumping in front of a train in the pilot. Fawcett revealed the writers have had that discussion, but added, "I don't know if you're going to see it in season two."

ADDITIONAL COMIC- CON INFO & SEASON 2 SPOILERS
Maslany has already played seven different clones, some of which died in Season 1. One of them, evolutionary developmental biology student Cosima, may be next. When last we saw her, she was coughing up blood, a symptom of an illness that could be part of the clones' faulty DNA. Sadly, co-creator Graeme Manson didn't quiet fans' fears. "She has to look at her own science," he said. "I think that's going to be very interesting... It's the health of all her sisters too. I think Cosima is a super-brave character. The truth is it's still up in the air. We don't know what's going to happen to Cosima."
Check out other fun tidbits from the panel:
The clones are real (sort of): The writers based at least two clones on real-life people. Manson's favorite clone, Cosima, is based on the series' science advisor who teaches the History of Science at the University of Minnesota. Intense soccer mom Alison is (loosely) based on Fawcett's sister.
Clone playlists: To get into the proper headspace for each clone, Maslany listens to different music for each. Alison is a showtunes gal; Cosima is into electro, indie, grind and rave; Sarah loves The Clash, Dizzy Rascal and The Prodigy (as does sister Helena, who also throws in some Tom Waits), and Rachel, aka the ProClone, is into '90s slow jamz (yes, with a "z").
Felix the free: In order to land the part of Sarah's brother Felix, Jordan Gavaris reportedly promised he'd be as naked as much as possible for the role. The writers held him to his word, and thus creative costuming including a kimono and a painter's apron (and nothing else!) made their appearances. Gavaris believes Fe's aversion to pants is because they're too "confining."

How Orphan Black pulls off Tatiana Maslany's clone scenes:
If you’ve been buzzing about Tatiana Maslany’s breakout role(s) on BBC America’s clone conspiracy drama Orphan Black, then you’ve probably also been wondering exactly how she manages to play multiple characters at the same time. Is it Hollywood witchcraft? Computer trickery? Is she just that good? Maybe a little bit of all three.
Check out this helpful behind-the-scenes video, which was screened this evening during the Orphan Black panel at Comic-Con. In it, the show’s star — and co-creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett — walk you through the intriguing and somewhat complicated process of making multiple Maslanys.

Who runs the Emmys? I'm wondering if I have enough time to hold whatever 'committee' hostage to get her on the card. I make no promises about no one being harmed...what happens, happens :3

Who runs the Emmys? I'm wondering if I have enough time to hold whatever 'committee' hostage to get her on the card. I make no promises about no one being harmed...what happens, happens :3 I hear you Slash! I don't know what those people were thinking! Well obviously they weren't, but you know this probably turned out to be a blessing in disguise for them. By them snubbing her it only brought more attention to her & the show. In some of the articles I read on the internet following the announcements of the Emmy's snub, fans were outraged. That only drew more attention & people wanted to know who she was & made them want to check the show out even more! So it kinda backfired on them in a way. Her not getting nominated overshadowed those who got nominated because that's what was all over the internet. The cast are amazing because they said they felt loved not snubbed.
