Having recently finished the 1st season, where to start?
I kind of hate what happened to Helena. It did seem like she was looking for a way out and got it but between the being raised by the church and the way people treated her still, she was just gone. It's kind of sad that Amelia didn't pick up on it being Helena (I thought her look was off to be Sarah and sure enough, it was Helena). I understand Sarah wanting to be cautious and no one wanting to trust her but Kira wasn't her fault...which was said by Kira. It was just a really horrible accident. I think if Sarah would have loosened the leash she had around Helena's neck and didn't tie her up in the basement, Helena would have been easier to work with and bring into the rest of the group (with a little easing and help). I do kind of see why she killed Amelia though, although Amelia wasn't to blame for that. It was just a poor alignment that Thomas/Maggie got to Helena and raised her in such a horrible fashion and with all the religious stuff. Helena blamed Amelia for putting her in that position/making her that way and she killed her for it.
Kira is quite the smart one. Knew Alison wasn't her mother and had an open mind to Helena and wanting to help her/getting Sarah to help her. Glad she survived that accident and was back on her feet shortly but that just opens up more questions since apparently, she's an 'anomaly' cause the clones aren't supposed to have children. I'd imagine Dyad would love to get their hands on her cause she's 'natural' from a clone and is probably a missing link in perfecting whatever their experiment is. And I'm hoping that whatever is happening with Cosima, that was happening with Katja, can be solved.
Thanks to Cosima, Sarah avoided making a huge mistake but the same can't be said for Alison who has been crashing hard. She let her neighbor die cause she thought she was her monitor when she was right to believe it was her husband who played dumb to everything. So what happens to Alison now since the clones are patented and she just signed a contract? Can Dyad just take her and do whatever or what? How many clones are there actually since we know of 10 now?
Gah, when is the next season?

This is such an awesome series but they need to show it sooner in between so people don't forget about it. I think Helena is still alive some how I mean she is use to abuse one gun shot may not be enough to kill her

I think she's really dead. From an interview I saw that Tatiana gave she said that Helena was dead which is a shame because I would've liked to have seen them explore their relationship more. I felt for Helena too because it wasn't her fault what happened to her. She was brainwashed. It was interesting that she picked up that she & Sarah had a connection & it turned out that they were twins. I can't wait to find out what makes Sarah so special & how she was able to have Kira & what the deal with Kira is. Heck who her father is! That will probably have a great deal to do with it. They didn't mention anything about it so I think they're leaving that open for next season. I'm glad Paul turned out not to be so bad although at the end I'm unsure who's side he's really on. I can't believe that Allison stood there and watched Ansley die! I mean I know she suspected her as the monitor & all, but to watch her die! That shocked me almost more than anything. I knew her husband was the spy because he was burning stuff in the earlier episodes. I don't know how he didn't crack under Allison's torture methods! I loved that episode though. Sarah & Felix coming to her rescue. Sarah impersonating Allison while she got drunk & Felix doing his thing! So many questions! I love it!. I agree with you Kat, I do hate that we have to wait that long till next season, but look at what this poor girl had to go through for this series. I think she actually needs a nice long vacation! This way she'll be well rested because more than likely she will be playing more roles which will be awesome for us!

Probably can't be said enough but Tatiana's acting skills are really amazing. I know I've read about TVD's Nina getting/not wanting to get burned out on playing Elena and Katherine and now Paul is getting a go at this with the Silas role next season but Tatiana is on the regular, playing 4-5 characters (Sarah, Cosima, Helena, Alison, the new one under Dyad) with radically different attitudes and mannerisms. Thinking back to it still, I'm blind sided by the fact that all these characters were 1 person portraying them and them interacting with herself. These characters are night and day to one another and I'm kind of surprised Tatiana isn't collecting equal paychecks alongside all the praise for her diversity/range. Still kind of irked about Helena biting it . I loved her 'out there' mannerisms (the way she ate, talked to herself or pictures) and one of my favorite scenes was the diner when she puts her foot in between Sarah's legs to get the names of the other clones and Sarah says she'll stab her again. I just lol'd at the look on Helena's face when she glanced down to see the knife. I'm just going to miss the overall oddity of her character and felt she had just as much potential as the others going forward (not to mention the new twin sister angle and her link to Thomas/the Church should they come in play again).

Yeah I agree with both and part of my love of the tvd is Katherine/Elena storyline and so when I saw this show and saw that one woman was able to do this for ten episodes for 12 characters. The scenes where there are three are so cool I hope they show a documentary on how they film that.

I also think that maybe Sara and Helena are the originals so that's why they can have kids?? Everyone was made from there DNA or I may need to watch the whole thing again.

They're not from what I understand. Leeki said they were 'lost' to them when they were doing the project so they can't be the original. Created just like the others. I think Sarah, despite the controlled variables for cloning, may just be an anomaly and that's why the group most likely wants Kira cause she shouldn't exist but at the same time, for science and cloning, she's extremely valuable and could probably lead to a future batch based on herself (or the group could take Sarah as a basis and keep with the current look but have a batch that has a high chance to create offspring).
You know, I haven't put much thought into the original being revealed/discussed but now I'm interested.

One of TV Guide's picks for Lead Actress for the Emmys & what they had to say about Tatiana:
"You mean we can't fill all six slots with Maslany? Not only does she play a number of clones, but her clones often impersonate each other — and somehow Maslany, who won the Critics' Choice Award, has managed to make all of them so distinct, nuanced and multi-faceted that you forget they're all played by one person. Maslany's ballot entry — her characters are listed as "Sarah, Beth and others" — ought to inspire curiosity and voters ought to like what they see."
I guess we'll find out July 18th if they got it right!
