No Spoiler - Just Speculation S5 "what you didn't know about your family" lol 1. Megan is Elena's half-sister. Result of a crazy college fling by E's father. She may have died with vamp-blood in her system, so we might see her again. Still working on how she got bit w/vervane in her system. Maybe the bite was for show and the fall killed her, she isn't dead at all, or she wasn't drinking the vervane. Bottom line Elena and her are related. 2. Damon and Stefan aren't brothers, but half brothers. They have the same mother "Mary" (I laugh at that all time, The Salvitore brothers sons of "Mother Mary") , but different fathers. I was going to go with not related, but the show would never give up the "Salvitore brother label", this way they don't have to. Explains why Damon didn't get along well with his father, and he probably still doesn't know. Explains why Damon didn't get along well with his father, and he probably still doesn't know. The big family mystery could be who's Damon's father......Klaus gets my vote. lol Just my thoughts could be way off. HHHHMMMM! I'm liking both these theories. With regards to Damon and Stefan, I agree to the spec that they are half brothers but I'm undecided as to which parent they share. Mrs Salvatore has been a mystery all along, and I'm wondering whether her story is going to be told this season. I'm going to speculate that she was a witch and is somehow related to all this doppleganger mythology. Last season, I really thought Damon was going to get the cure and turn human and discover that his true destiny was that he should have been a warlock. I think something like this may happen this season.

That's interesting regarding using matt for telephone purposes. And I also agree I think Nadia and her friend are some kind of witches and they want to be rid of silas. Maybe they were awaken when silas was resurrected. but isn't Jeremy already a "telephone" for dead witches? Maybe he can "call" others, too Yea, that would make it a party line. lol damonsgirl, I like the worlock theory for Damon - He's always been connected to them. We'll see.

okay so next episode we are suppose to learn something On next week’s show we will find out what is Silas’ master plan is.(I wonder if this has something to do with damon and Elena's future and why?) Elena will be in danger from Nadia, actually she holds a gun on her.
We also get to meet a new character this week, Tessa (Janina Gavankar) and she will come face-to-face with Silas. Tessa is a mysterious new stranger and she knows a lot about Stefan and his past.
Also Stefan has been starving for three months and it looks like he is back. BUT, Stefan the ripper is back, how are they going to manage to control him?

so since elena obviously lives through original sin to make it to a sorority Halloween party what happens next week cant be too sinister however I am still very curious.

What if Quetsiyah created the sirebond to keep Stefan and Elena apart?

I dont think so. Why would she want Stefan and Elena apart/ although she looked ok with them meeting not unless she has made her mission to making sure the doppelgangers dont ever get together either.

What I don't get is the whole Qetsiyah, Silas, Amara story happened before any original or vampire was created. So how does that go along with the hunterstoryline from last season? Why do hunters kill vampires and get the map to find Silas on their skin? When did Tessa create that spell or was it even Tessa? It must have been 1000 years after she burried Silas since it includes vampires which weren't created at the time Silas and Amara fell in love, right? The hunters were created to find the cure and kill Silas. If we believe what Tessa said that was her goal. Kill Silas before the veil is open so he'd be doomed to spend eternity on the other side with her. But why do the hunters have to kill vampires to get the map? Why wouldn't she make it easier for them to find the cure if that's what she wanted? So did someone else hide the map and used the vampires as kind of guard for it because they would fight to not get killed and unknowingly help to hide the map. Maybe Amara who wants to reunite with Silas...

Maybe Amara who wants to reunite with Silas... As you said it doesn't make sense. Hopefully we'll get more. For all we know the witch (from the Bennett line) that created the hunters was being controlled or directed by Q on the other side. I suppose Tessa figured at first that Silas would have taken the cure on his own. I thought that having the hunters killing the vamps before the map was revealed was a way for the hunters to hone their skill so once they confronted Silas they could easily defeat him. But from what we've seen of Silas he's a little on the slow side and has his strength from mind-control. Sort of makes you wonder if the hunters had just gone for Silas immediately Silas may not have been able to defend himself because his mind-reading abilities weren't as strong as today. I don't think we've seen the last of Amara either.

was amara on the other side with Tessa? Is amara bad or good I wonder? Silus is bad so hmm. I am not so sure I like that the original versions of stefen and elena are heinous but Katherine is well Katherine and we have not meant tatia.

Amara and Silas took the immortal potion and then Tessa found Amara and made her take the cure. Amara became human again and then Tessa killed her. So Amara was human when she died.
