Decided to start watching Fringe on Netflix. 1 episode down, plenty more to go.
And is it just me or are 'finales' sneaking up? Defiance has it's season finale tonight and I've seen that Teen Wolf has 'mid-season' (?) finale as well. Da hell? So soon? It just turned July! I'm guessing the CW stuff is back in October? Or is it September? Either way, that's a large gap of, well, nothing.

I've been watching something I bet none of you probably have watched! The Waltons! I really love this show! It makes you really appreciate what we have today. My grandparents had always told me stories of what it was like for them during the depression so it's interesting to see. I love that family. John Boy is like the sweetest brother & son you'd ever want and the parents are the best.

Listen, my shows would be ideal without the breaks. Just nonstop enjoyment from beginning to end, 3-6+ seasons of all the story right there at your fingertips and only being limited by your own pace/free time.
I loathe live TV for this very reason. Week-to-week waiting to find out what happens, then months/a year to find out what happens after that as they transition seasons. Surely a design/mentality of Lucifer himself.

tara Our boys from Suits are on the cover of next week's TV Guide! I hope you're getting caught up on the show! You know how they're always doing movie quotes to each other, here's a clip were they actually acted them out! Its so funny! And also a promo for WWHD! Love them! Can't wait for Tues when it returns!

Feeling very nostalgic for Smallville these days. Was such a great show! I've been chatting lately about Green Arrow & my mind immediately goes to Justin Hartley which led me to watching some of my favorite clips from the show. Love & miss all the characters. As bad as Lex & Lionel were you still couldn't help but love them & you could always count on getting a history lesson with their dialogue!

So, just finished S4 of Fringe. 87 episodes and yet I don't feel I've watched that many. Oh, and just like Netflix, they don't have S5, the final season So I can 'wait', or I can go and download the remaining season...good going Netflix Thinking of starting X-Files or checking out Orange is the New Black.

Finished Orange is the New Black. Pretty entertaining as I went in with kind of low expectations riding on the praise (never watched 'Weeds', the creator's other show). Not problems with the handling of the show moreso the development of certain characters, such as the lead and her fiance. It's just a...mess. She goes to prison for 15 months, is locked up with the girl she had a lesbian relationship with 8 years ago and who named her in a drug investigation, kind of rekindles the relationship and lies kind of just dig the hole deeper for the 3 of them. Everyone is clearly in the wrong and you're just shaking your head all the way through, mainly at the fiance and his way of getting payback (worth a punch in the throat).
The surrounding inmates really make the show as you get a little bit more about everyone as the series goes on (you get flashbacks of individual characters showing what they did to get there and how their lives were). This is one of those series though, I'm gonna say like The Shield and Breaking Bad, where the longer I watch, the more I hate certain characters and the decisions they make. I finished The Shield despite that but don't plan on finishing Breaking Bad. OITNB I'm going to hang with though.

If you liked Fringe then you will love the X-Files. The intensity of the X-Files disappears in the last few seasons once Ducovny left but the story line was still good. The writing overall is fantastic and the characters are great too. It's so worthwhile to watch if you get a chance. I watched while it was originally on and then bought the box set and rewatched it all over again.

I'm no stranger to the X-Files, 'believe' me Although I didn't watch it while it aired, I watched the syndicated episodes on Sci-Fi (when they used to do their all day marathons), Chiller at one point and another channel or two. This is at various times of the day when I could catch it too. Watching it via Netflix will just be my first time watching the show in it's entirety, in order, from beginning, to end.
