The CW has released an official description for the October 15 episode of The Originals — the second episode of The Originals Season 3.
The title of the episode is “You Hung The Moon.” Here’s the write-up:
IMPENDING THREATS AND A DIRE PROPHECY — After discovering that poachers have begun taking out werewolves in the bayou, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) grow concerned for Hayley’s (Phoebe Tonkin) safety when she fails to show up during the full moon. Meanwhile, Davina (Danielle Campbell), the only one with the answer to Hayley’s whereabouts, plots ways to use that to her advantage. Elsewhere, Cami (Leah Pipes) approaches Klaus (Joseph Morgan) with her theory on who is behind the series of murders in the French Quarter, while Lucien (guest star Andrew Lees) delivers to Elijah an unsettling warning about the war brewing among the sire lines. Finally, after receiving a dire prophecy about the future of the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus takes extreme measures to determine the validity of this potential impending threat. Charles Michael Davis and Riley Voelkel also star. Jeffrey Hunt directed the episode written by Carina Adly Mackenzie (#302). Original airdate 10/15/2015.

This season isn't grabbing me yet. It's entertaining for the most part, like the scene with Elijah, Jackson and Lucien. It was surprising and seemed like a clever idea until Lucien came up with his own werewolf cure - blah. Some things left me curious, like finding out there's more to Cami's family from Will, and Elijah's plan to move in Haley and family across the street. Oh, and can't forget the Haley/Klaus fight! I'm not that interested in Lucien, Tristan and Aurora (name?) though, or the big season plot. Did it bother you moshe12 and wednesday to have Haley & Jackson back?!?

I agree with you, this season isn't getting me on the edge yet ... good episodes, but nothing that knocks me off the couch, in fact i am enjoying TVD this eason so far much better No it didn#t bother me that Hayley and Jackson are back, I don#t care for Hayley, but Jackson didn#t bother me at all this epsiode. Think the witch stuff was pretty interesting, Davina is in deep crap meanwhile ... lol

She's making everyone mad, including the ancestors. I thought Vincent would step in by now with some guidance but maybe he has his own agenda and needs Davina as regent for some ulterior motive. ?

As much as I like Vincent (after he finally stepped out of Finn's body) and enjoy his screentime I do not trust him

I'm not that interested in Lucien, Tristan and Aurora (name?) though, or the big season plot. Did it bother you moshe12 and wednesday to have Haley & Jackson back?!? Well I liked this episode much better than the premiere. It was more exciting to me. My two favorite scenes were the Elijah/Jackson/Lucien and the Hayley/Klaus confrontation. I loved seeing Elijah and Jackson team up and Jackson take a chunk out of his arm after Lucien was trying to be all cocky to Elijah!! Then Elijah is like I'll be more than happy to stand here and watch you die!! Me too Elijah!! They had some really funny lines in the episode mostly from Klaus. The scene where Freya brought home the bar guy and Klaus asking him his name and what his intentions were and then to discuss a dowry! I haven't been a fan of Hayley for a long time, but this episode actually made me care about her for once. I wanted her to smack Davina around a little more. When she confronted Klaus I was actually cheering for her! Smack down! When she saw Hope walking that actually brought a tear to my eye. She has missed out on a lot. I'm not the biggest Jackson fan, but I like him and Hayley together. I think they bring out the best in each other. If they can get Elijah to stop pining over her I'll be one happy camper!! About Lucien and his cure? What is it? It can't be Klaus's blood because he hasn't seen him in how many years and supposedly that's the only thing that can cure a werewolf bite. How are they going to explain his miraculous recovery from the bite? I hope they don't make Elijah and Jackson both look stupid because we all saw him chow down on his arm and he was dying so I want to see how they talk their way out of that! I'm curious where they're going to go with the whole Cami and Will thing too. I don't think he will live very long if Klaus sees him sniffing around her. I don't really care for Lucien. He seems like a bad Klaus wannabe. I'm a little more curious about Tristan and Aurora because we haven't seen much of them yet. It's only been 2 episodes so we'll see where it goes. Maybe she's a ripper and that's why he has her locked away? moshe12 I like Vincent a lot more too now that he's no longer Finn. He seems like he has good intentions, but that could all be a smoke screen. I hope he's good because I want to see them do something more with his character. I wouldn't mind seeing them get rid of Davina and have him as their witch/warlock. She's on my last nerve. She goes to Marcel and asks for his help and once he gives it to her she spits in his face. It would be cool if Cami could somehow get her powers. That would make her very interesting! The vision of what's suppose to come after them kinda reminds of The First from Buffy! That quick flash was the first thing that came to my mind! Please don't tell me JP is going to copy something else from Buffy!
