The CW has released a description for the May 4th episode of The Originals.
A FAMILY DIVIDED — After discovering that he’s been betrayed by his own siblings, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) teams up with an unlikely ally and sets off on a warpath, hell bent on revenge. Amidst the news that Klaus is on the loose, Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Rebekah (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel) move forward with their plan to lure Dahlia (guest star Claudia Black) to the compound and take her down once and for all. Meanwhile, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) attempt to escape through the flooded bayou, even as Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) finds himself hunted by a dangerous new threat. Finally, Davina (Danielle Campbell) is presented with an offer that could allow her the chance to bring back Kol, though it will require her to make a life-altering decision. Leah Pipes and Yusuf Gatewood also star.
David Straiton directed the episode written by Michael Narducci (#221)

Oh goodness! Ok it looks like Klaus snaps Marcel's neck. jennifer Do you think he goes to Elijah and Marcel's homes and kills some of the vampires and kills Gia which would explain why she isn't in the finale? Do you think that's why Elijah is screaming? It looks like he's tied up somewhere and he's been bitten because he looks bloody? Klaus goes to see the wolves in the woods, but all the dead bodies that we see are at the cemetery? It says that Marcel is hunted by a dangerous new threat. That would have to be Klaus since he snaps his neck wouldn't it? This is from the description of the finale which makes me think that Klaus has killed some vampires "Marcel has to put aside his fury at Klaus in order to protect himself and everyone in their sire line." I really hope that Gia doesn't die and it's just Jackson and the werewolves. I hope Elijah gets to her first and tells her to get out of town before Klaus can get to her. Since next season is focusing on romance I just don't think I can stomach it between Elijah and Hayley after everything that's happened this last half of the season. She's made it loud and clear that she's wanted nothing to do with him and has chosen a life with Jackson and he deserves better than that and shouldn't settle.

That was my first thought about Elijah wednesday, that he's screaming because Klaus kills Gia. The part about Marcel saving the sire line must mean Dahlia or Freya or maybe angry vampires attempt to kill Klaus?!? But yes, it sounds like Marcel's fury is about Klaus killing Marcel's pack or crew or whatever you call a group of loyal vampires. LOL, don't be mean to my werewolves.

jennifer I know we talked about it and knew it was going to happen to her, but it still didn't make it any less painful to watch!! I'm sad right now so I'll have to get back with you tomorrow. Poor Gia. Klaus went too far this time.

I just finished watching. There were so many twists and turns, and it was literally a nail biter as my fingers can attest. Poor Gia. That scene was so painful to watch wednesday, to see how much Elijah cared for her and Gia under compulsion, unable to stop; I hated Klaus in that moment! I know you two aren't fans of Jackson, but he was an interesting juxtaposition to Klaus in the episode. He's not complex. His loyalty to Haley, Hope and his pack occasionally makes him do stupid things, like attempt to fight Klaus. I like him all the better for always getting stuck in the underdog role (hehehe pun ). Klaus' vengeance against Haley and pack was very clever. Finally someone got the drop on Dahlia! I forgave Klaus a little bit when he turned the tables on her and wouldn't turn Hope over. Consuming all that blood must've been part of his plan. I assume the witch Dahlia loved best was Esther and that's why Freya's blood didn't work. Freya looked genuinely terrified of Dahlia, made me wonder if the scenes Dahlia showed Klaus of Freya out of control had more to do with Dahlia trying to take over Freya's powers rather than the story Dahlia fed Klaus? I'm beginning to think the core story for Dahlia is her relationship with Esther and revenge toward her for falling in love with Mikael and leaving. We might find out more why Esther became so bitter and hateful, beyond losing her first child. The witch stuff was fine, not as interesting as the rest. I get the feeling there's more to Vincent unloading the regency than he's telling Davina. He looked kinda shifty, and like he was pushing the ceremony to go faster. There's not enough time left in the season to answer all my questions!! Looks like a new plan is in the works. Glad to see Cami involved in the action again.
