Indeed Kiki. I think a vampire Sheriff Forbes would be FANGtastic! I doubt they will. But it would be awesome. Noooooooo! I hope they don't even though she'd be a kickass vampire with her Sheriff training & practical streak. The problem is she'd get the gang whipped into shape, figure out how to solve the Bonnie problem, the Kai problem, have a confab with the Gemini coven and then the show would be over. I'm sure you're right about the technical aspects of her becoming a vamp Kiki. I see her dying, death and funeral as a way for the show to inject some humanity back into the crazy vamp/witch world, a reminder for all the characters about where they came from. Most of the time I like the crazy, but I'm ready to see a balance to all the endless, meaningless deaths that occur.

I am expecting that Sheriff Forbes will be dead dead.

jennifer What I ment was the technical aspect. Why all the drama if they could so easily keep her around? I'm sure she will die. If it would be season 1 or 2 I'd be not so sure. Things were less obvious back then. They'd let us believe Liz would die and the last minute it would turn out to be someone unexpected and we'll all be so surprised and shocked.... but things like that don't happen anymore. You can see every plot coming from a looooong time ahead

I think you're right but the idea of "Fangtastic" Sheriff Forbes caused my mind to wander..... My problem is that I still don't buy the retcon that vampire blood can't cure cancer. Even though Damon says it again tonight. File it under the category of other arbitrary "rules" of vampire limitations, for example, what Julie Plec said when Paul Wesley asked why Stefan just couldn't reach over and grab Elena as well as Matt to save them both from the submerged vehicle: "he just can't." There is no real reason why it can't. It is just convenient for the story line that it can't. Oh well. I'll still watch.

You can see every plot coming from a looooong time ahead Sheriff Forbes wouldn't choose to be a vampire. Caroline would do the deed if Liz wanted that. I totally agree that several seasons back it might've happened accidentally or been forced on her.
