I really liked tonight's episode. Klaus and Cami scenes were beautiful tonight. Cami is better for Klaus than Caroline. She treats him so much better and I hope they end up together. Klaus getting revenge on Mikael was the highlight of the episode. Mikael has abused Klaus since he was a child. I just wish he would have dagger him and got it over with.
I know a lot of people are shipping Elijah and Hayley. Understand that I respect your opinion. I know what I'm about to say will piss some of the posters off. Just know that I'm here troll you. But I do have to be completely honest. Last season I predicted that Marcel and Hayley would closer. The reason I say this because of their history. Marcel saved the lives of her and her daughter. He's the vampire king and she's the werewolf queen. They at odds, but I don't think they could ever be enemies. I believe over the course of the season we're going to see them get to know each other. If that happens I believe they will look at each other differently. I'm not sying they will have a deep love for each other. I think they're going to have a fling.

Things I liked: Elijah: No one makes an entrance quite like he does! Am I right moshe12 Loved all his scenes up until he got tricked by Esther! That whole have the werewolf kids kill humans was all a ruse to get Elijah. They knew the wolves would go to him for help. I did like seeing them have to do it after trying to come in all big and bad threatening them at the beginning of the episode. Was that sexual tension I saw between him and Gia during their training which I highly enjoyed btw!! More please! I didn't think they were going to go there with them, but they have chemistry whether it was intended or not. Mikael: Sebastian Roche is just amazing & has a commanding presence when he's onscreen much like Daniel. I liked that he was trying to teach Davina how to fight. She acts like she's all big and bad with her magic, she needed to be taken off her high horse. She's too trusting and look what happened to her. Kol betrayed her. I wonder if he'll tell Esther about Mikael or still continue to keep that a secret. What does Mikael think happened to Kol and Finn? Loved his fight with Klaus! Definitely worth the wait! Mikael pulled out the knife because he can deal with pain. This doesn't bode well for Klaus. Oliver: Who would've thought I'd ever say that. Glad to see they gave him something to do besides be a total dbag. I liked and was surprised to see him stay and fight with Elijah. He earned some brownie points with me. Josh: Love him! It will be interesting to see how things will play out with Aiden considering they're suppose to be enemies. What I didn't like: Hayley and her attitude! I know she's hurting and grieving over having to give up Hope, but don't like the way she's treating Elijah. He's bent over backwards to help her every way he could and she's issuing threats to him about her people and then comes to him begging for his help. Make up your mind! Cami: UGH!! Why did they insist on forcing the whole non-existent relationship with Klaus. I found their scenes painful to watch. Everything is going down with his people and he's out trying to find Mikael yet they're going to have him sit in a bar and have a chat and dance with her! Seriously! Why is she still on this show? No offense to Cami fans, but we're all entitled to our opinion.

Agree about Oliver earning some respect this episode. He was worried about another screw up happening on his watch but when it came down to it, he stayed behind to fight alongside Elijah, even when Finn showed up, he made an attempt. Also agreeing about Hayley and her attitude. I know she's new to Vampire emotions and dealing with not being with her daughter but damn, I dread her scenes now cause she's got to have an attitude now. The way she acted when Elijah came simply asking for Klaus had me wondering what the hell her deal was On that note, what little personal time Elijah and Gia had, I hope they go somewhere with it personally. Elijah deserves someone good in his life and they seem to hit it off well enough so far, barring the whole Marcel angle. Also was nice to see her worried about him still. Although with the news that Elijah is captured, I'm sure Hayley is going to crank up the "I CARE ELIJAH!" drums and rally support to save him. Hmph. Speaking of Hayley, she really is in a odd spot. She somewhat connects with both brothers but in her current state, she just doesn't work with either IMO. I feel like Cami understands Klaus better and could actually repair some of the damage done to him in the process and we know the whole Elijah thing (mother of his niece). So if they push Hayley and Marcel as a 'royal' couple to unite two factions in the Quarter, whatever. But then there is Bekah so...*shrugs* When we cross that bridge... Klaus and Mikael's fight was what we were robbed of on TVD with Mikael's quick demise. Klaus having a plan, itching for the fight and being a Hybrid seemed to tip things just enough in his favor. But we'll see what that leads to with the dagger not lasting long as Mikael pulled it out shortly after -_- Kol...what are you doing? What are you up to?

I like how Elijah told Hayley with everything that was going down it wasn't the right time for her "brand of sass!" He always has a way with words! She needed to be put in her place and like I said I'm glad she had to go to him for help. I would love for something to happen with him and Gia too! I think I read that the writers didn't intend for it to be that kind of relationship, but I think it would be a wasted opportunity. I think if you have chemistry like that onscreen I say go for it! He definitely deserves someone good in his life, but I would want it to develop slowly over time. As much as I was a fan of him and Hayley at one time I do think it kinda came out of nowhere. I know this might seem like a stupid question, but if Gia had ripped his heart out he wouldn't have died right because he's an Original? We've never seen anyone try that with them, but I remember on TVD they said they tried every which way to kill them including setting them on fire and nothing worked so I'm assuming ripping his heart out wouldn't either. Was that actually his intent to let her rip his heart out so she could see what it was like? I'm a little confused by that? Another question about Josh and Aiden. Did they know who the other one was the entire time? They went through everything like total strangers yet at the end acted like they knew each other? I'm confused What does Mikael think happened to Kol and Finn? Don't you think it's funny that Esther is worried about getting her family back: Klaus and Elijah, but yet fails to mention Rebekah. I guess outta site outta mind. I really miss her.

I'm just going to be honest. I don't think that Hayley is the right girl for Elijah. Early last season they were just starting to get to know each other. It seems to me that the more he gets to know her the less he likes her. Hayley has a very bad attitude, not just towards Elijah, but towards everyone who is not part of her pack. Before Elijah was in love with the idea of Hayley, now reality is starting to set in.

Not sure about ripping the heart out. Given that Elijah was going along with it and it being hamnered away the White Oak Stake is the *ONLY* way to kill an Original, I'd say he'd have been fine.
As for Josh and Aiden, kind of wondering about that myself. They were working together and at the end of the episode, Aiden is the other guy? Maybe they put it in the back of their mind due to pressing matters?
And yes, I find it amazing that Esther has been prattling on about family and getting them back together yet Bekah hasn't been mentioned as if conveniently forgotten. Klaus and Elijah have reason not to draw attention to her but the others?
Agree on Gia and Elijah, if it does happen, being a slow burn to something substantial (a kiss or confession). I guess evolve the mentor bond over the season and leave it to the finale or into next season. I know Hayley is going to be kept in the picture though, despite how she treats the guy.

Sometimes these things are a mystery! I like that they keep us guessing! I knew I read an article somewhere about Daniel saying that nothing romantic would be happening with Gia and I found it. He said he didn't want fans to get the wrong idea? Well then someone should tell them to tone down the sexual tension then! I hope he doesn't get that up close and personal with all his trainees. I mean I use to think I was a fan of him with Hayley, but now I'm like Hayley who! I'll try not to board this ship, but they need to tell Daniel to knock it off with the smoldering looks! Even Hayley felt like she was interrupting something ! The writers could change their minds after they see the fan reaction? Like I said it would be a wasted opportunity with chemistry like that! It doesn't come along very often! The Originals' Daniel Gillies Dispels 'Romantic' Elijah Rumors in Season 2

It was a good episode like always, but somehow I am confused...who is siding with who meanwhile...it was a bit too much input for me tbh. I somehow liked Ollie manning up this episode and supporting Elijah.
Elijah I hope when you are out of this mess, you will look for another woman to hang out with because Hayley definitely isn't the one for you.
