gclm and Kiki I thought y'all would find this interesting. Game of Thrones: Kit Harington Confirms That Jon Snow Will Make Season 6 Appearance
Disclaimer: Every single word in this story may be true, but we recommend taking them with a Wall-sized heaping of salt. Because when Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harington says he’s only going to be in the HBO drama’s new season as a corpse… we really don’t believe he’s just going to lie there like casket fodder. But that’s what the actor recently told Time Out London, saying that the only new scenes he’s filmed for the series were “scenes of me being dead” and joked “It’s some of my best work.” Rumors of Harington’s involvement in the coming season, despite Jon Snow’s apparent death at the end of Season 5, have been gathering steam since the season finale. Harington’s decision to keep Jon’s long locks, along with photos of him in Belfast (one of the drama’s shooting locations), seemed to back the hopeful scuttlebutt. But Harington and his castmates have repeated vowed that Ned Stark’s bastard son is “dead” — much like Maisie Williams did when Michael Ausiello asked her about her on-screen brother at last year’s Emmys. And for his part, Harington told Time Out London that he’s not privy to what else will happen on the show this season. tvline.com/2016/03/07/game-of-thrones-season-6-jon-snow-kit-harington/#more-691409

Game of Thrones: 'Jon Snow Is Dead,' HBO Finally, Officially Confirms
For those of you still in the denial stage of grief following Jon Snow’s Game of Thrones fate, a new, official pronouncement from HBO should help move you along to the anger stage — and quickly. “Jon Snow is dead,” the premium cabler states in its synopsis of the Season 6 premiere, putting an official seal on the most hotly contested TV death of 2015. The episode’s description, distributed in a press release Thursday, also notes that “Daenerys meets a strong man” and “Cersei sees her daughter again.” But we’re mostly concerned with the part about the deceased Lord Commander, which seems to back up portrayer Kit Harington’s recent assertion that he only appears in the upcoming season in “scenes of me being dead.” The state of Harington’s alter ego has been in dispute ever since Jon Snow was stabbed repeatedly by members of the Night’s Watch in the Season 5 finale. Though the episode’s final shot of Harington showed Jon bleeding copiously, several theories about the character’s survival — including some of our own — quickly sprang up, seemingly buttressed by the actor’s appearance in paparazzi photos from the set and his choice not to cut off Jon’s signature locks. Perhaps we’ll know more when the premiere — titled “The Red Woman” — airs on Sunday, April 24 (9/8c). tvline.com/2016/04/07/game-of-thrones-jon-snow-dead-official-hbo-kit-harington/#more-701807

gclm I thought about you when I came across this headline. It says there are potential spoilers so read at your own risk. It has info about the finale though so I thought you might be interested. Game Of Thrones’: Season 6 Finale To Be Longest-Ever Episode
HBO has added the final three episodes of the sixth season of Game of Thrones to its schedule, revealing not only some possible major spoilers, but also that the season 6 finale will be the longest single episode in the series’ history (so far anyway – winter is still coming). Suffice to say, previous episode spoilers and potentially serious spoilers about those to come follow. Read no further if you want to remain unsullied. First up, the 8th episode set for June 12 is called “No One,” a title that almost certainly refers to the creed of the secret society of assassins, who shed all traces of their former lives, known as The Faceless Men. Arya Stark (Maise Williams) joined their ranks in season 5, but left the order in the May 29 episode “Blood of my Blood” after rejecting their amoral code and requirement that she become “no one.” This marked her for death and led to an attempt on her life at the end of last week’s “The Broken Man.” In keeping with the brisk pace of season 6, it would appear Arya’s conflict with the Faceless Men may soon be wrapped up. The same seems to be true for the June 19 episode, “Battle of the Bastards.” The bastards in question would of course Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), a legitimized bastard now leading the clan who controls the former Stark family castle of Winterfell, and the recently-resurrected Jon Snow (Kit Harington), last seen trying to raise an army to liberate Winterfell and restore the Stark fortunes. Game of Thrones‘ producers have promised season 6 would see the biggest battle yet shown in series history, and this looks like the likely place for it. Both episodes hint at huge changes to come for the show, but the biggest changes may come in the final episode, set to air June 26 and titled “The Winds of Winter.” That title is obviously a reference to the still-unpublished sixth book in George R.R. Martin’s novels on which Game of Thrones is based. While it doesn’t suggest any specific plot details, on HBO’s official Game of Thrones website it’s revealed the episode will be 69 minutes long, making it the series’ longest. Only the season 2 finale “Valar Morghulis” (64 minutes) and season four finale “The Children” (65 minutes) approach it. We’ll leave you to speculate on what could be in store, but we will note three things: 1) Daenerys has recently made herself the leader of the Dothraki and is now bent on moving her army – and her three dragons – on Westeros to take the kingdom back; 2) the armies of The Night’s King (AKA the undead White Walkers) are themselves marching south to invade Westeros from north of the wall; and 3) both “Winds of Winter” and “Battle of the Bastards” are directed by Miguel Sapochnik, who also helmed season 5’s stand out entry “Hardhome,” the centerpiece of which was an enormous battle between outmatched humans and the forces of the Night’s King. deadline.com/2016/06/hbo-game-of-thrones-jon-snow-1201769548/

gclm Game of Thrones: What can we expect from season 7?
Jon Snow still knows nothing — but at least we know much more than we did at the start of season 6. We know that Jon’s not Ned’s son, but Lyanna’s. (Congrats, R+L=J theorists, myself included!) We know that Cersei’s now on the Iron Throne, after taking a page out of the Mad King Aerys’ book and burning all of her enemies down in the Sept of Baelor. (All men must die, after all.) We know that Arya’s back in Westeros, capable of both baking and murdering without any intention of following the core beliefs of the House of Black and White. We know that Bran’s headed South. We know that Melisandre’s headed South. We know Daenerys is headed West. We know that Sansa has a vital decision to make about rulership of the North. And we know that Sam has finally reached the Citadel in Oldtown, where he’ll be privy to all knowledge of Westeros — including the pivotal key to defeating the White Walkers, once and for all. In other words, the season 6 finale, “The Winds of Winter,” has set up what looks like an epic season 7 to come — and in EW’s Game of Theories’ final installment above, we break down everything we learned and what it’ll mean once the drama returns next year. So, like Daenerys, we’re not sad to see season 6 leave — we’re just impatient for season 7 to arrive. Speaking of which, will we open next year on her toppling Cersei’s brittle grasp on the Iron Throne, or will we see Jaime drive the sword into his sister-lover’s back? Will we see Bran return to Winterfell, and Jon finally learn who he really is? (And will Bran learn of Jon’s father’s identity before that happens?) What about the Queen of Thorns, who’s now solidly with the Martells Sands, and in turn, Daenerys? The Mother of Dragons now leads the most formidable small council in the Seven Kingdoms. Fingers crossed she knows what to do with it. Still, Game of Thrones isn’t all about the power players and where they’ve landed. It’s just as important to take a look back at the lives lost in the process — and season 6 delivered wave after wave of deaths, some crushing (hold the door!), some exhilarating (those hounds were hungry, Ramsay!), and some just… grotesque to watch (don’t cross Ser Gregor!). In the video above, we’ve also compiled the notable departures of season 6, so take a trip down memory lane with us. www.ew.com/article/2016/06/27/game-of-thrones-theories-winds-of-winter-season-6-finale

gclm I know this can't make you very happy, but I thought you wouldn't still mind the updates though. Game of Thrones Season 7 Production Delayed
As if Game of Thrones fans weren’t already agonizing over the year-long wait for the show’s seventh season, their patience is about to be put to an even greater test. During a recent appearance on a UFC podcast (of all places!), Thrones bosses David Benioff and D.B. Weiss revealed that production on Season 7 is going to be pushed back to accommodate the arrival of winter in Westeros. “We don’t have an air date yet,” the showrunners acknowledged when pressed for one. “We’re starting a bit later because, you know, at the end of this season, winter is here, and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes any more. We kind of pushed everything down the line so we could get some grim, gray weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot.” In previous years, Thrones has returned as early as March 31 and as late as April 24, so it was already anyone’s guess when Season 7 — which will kick off the series’ final run of 13 episodes — would premiere. Now, we’re not even sure if Bran Stark, in all his tree-whispering wisdom, could give us the answer. (In lieu of magical, info-bearing trees, TVLine has reached out to HBO for comment.) tvline.com/2016/07/06/game-of-thrones-season-7-premiere-date-delayed-new-interview/#more-729707
