OK, i get it now. I mis-read your comment as saying IF Max knew it was fake, then he'd do what you said.....which I absolutely agree with. Max would definitely ask Liz why she faked the sex, and probably why she lied about it the first time he asked. Yeah, Liz got lucky on that one! "Yeah, Liz got lucky on that one!" You're right, but the guy was leaving for his PLANET(!), so discussing the intricacies of why she cheated wasn't exactly a priority on his mind. All of this is so funny if you really think about it. Ack, I'm chatting about stuff after watching once and obviously need to get a handle on the plot sequence for this particular event. Thanks for the reminder...

Shows you what an impact it still has and how it can affect you. That one subject still has people talking even after all this time funny or not! Who cares if he was leaving his planet! That's one thing that always drove me crazy. I would've asked her why she lied to me right there in that jeep since the conversation came up and they were having a big heart to heart. Perfect opportunity as far as I'm concerned.

And to explain in detail about her reasons for cheating/not cheating on him would've taken too long and probably spoiled the intimate moment they had together. She said what he needed to hear and it put his mind at ease. If they weren't saying goodbye at that very moment things would've been different. But I can definitely see how it could bug you. Unresolved feelings and all.

Perfect opportunity as far as I'm concerned. Lol, so this moment was one of the hotly debated topics from back in the day. Interesting. Now I'm curious to look up a Roswell site and read some old posts. I'm sure Tess took up some space. You asked about favorite scenes...wow, lots of moments. Of course that moment when Liz asks Max if he comes from the North when he points up, lol. I loved the episode with Max befriending Samuel and not being able to heal him because nothing was wrong with him, he was just different. Kyle praying to Buddha for sex. Both Christmas episodes actually - loved Liz & Maria as elves! They're so tiny. Michael & Maria getting used to a wealthy lifestyle! Also their drive after Michael steals her car (those two in general as they were getting to know each other). I'm trying to think of favorite Liz or Max scenes but they sorta blend together now...I liked how practical Liz was, even in her love for Max. And Max, at first he just came off as flat to me, but then I started to notice the subtleties in his facial expressions, and he also became more animated - his little Mariachi routine was fun. There were lots more fun moments that were just sweet interactions or of understanding. What are other people's fave scenes??

The thing that bothers me and still does when I rewatch the show is that when Liz found out Max slept with Tess I felt she had no right to be upset with him, the whole I saved myself speech. It was Liz that pushed Max towards Tess because of what future Max told her. But then again Max should have known her well enough to know she would never have slept with Kyle no matter what. It reminds me of the scene where Liz sees Max kiss Tess in the rain. She tells Maria that everything she sees with her eyes tells her that Max is cheating but her heart tells her he is not. Ah, teen angst.

There were lots more fun moments that were just sweet interactions or of understanding. What are other people's fave scenes?? That would be rather interesting to find some other sites and see what the fans have to say! Yes I'm sure Tess took up alot of space! I guess asking favorite scenes was kinda of a loaded question because there are so many to choose from!! I liked all the ones that you chose. That car scene with Michael and Maria is definitely one of my top scenes for sure! They were hysterical together! I loved that episode. I love the part when both Michael and Maria are telling Max, Isabel and Liz that the other one are vibrators! "People that send out vibes!" It's just funny that they both described each other the same way! I loved the pilot and the finale of course. I liked episode where they all went to Vegas because it was the group together trying to have fun. Yes even though Tess was there, it was still a cute episode. I loved the New Years episode when Maria and Max went off to search for the party, Liz took care of Michael and Isabel and Kyle were also searching as well. It's a side of Max you rarely get to see having fun and I loved to see the gang all reunite at the end for breakfast. Cute scene. I always liked Maria and Max's friendship when she was trying to give him advice and would call him girlfriend! The dream scene of Alex and Isabel dancing was so sweet, I loved that song. When Max gave his son away and he breaks down and Liz tells him she'll always be there for him. She was his strength most of the time in the relationship if you think about it. She's what made him feel human and I always loved that about their relationship. I also liked the close friendship that Kyle and Liz developed later as well. See alot of great stuff! It's hard to pick just one thing! stelena4ever Teen angst indeed! Very frustrating! You want to just slap both of them! It's so funny how a show can make us literally want to

You've reminded me of other scenes I liked, including the entire New Year's Eve episode when Max/Maria end up finding.....whatever the name of the secret party is. They mixed up the character pairs and it worked, like you said. I'm watching another show with Shiri right now, Life Unexpected. Arielle Kebbel & Sean Sipos make appearances. It's good, more interesting in theory sometimes. Just waiting out the hiatus, started to feel excited about TVD after taking a break this Summer & not thinking much about it.

Small world, Life Unexpected is one of my favorite shows too. I love the family aspect and the roller coaster of emotions it puts you through. Plus Shiri is in it, so you can't go wrong there, and Brit Robertson does a tremendous job as Lux. Just a really good show, and soooooo underrated. I was so upset when it got cancelled. Sigh! BTW, Kristoffer Polaha that plays Baze was in a episode of Roswell (season three). He played one Jesse's friends. Feel free to talk about the show with me anytime. I would love to reminisce.

I've always watched some of favorite shows Christmas episodes over the years. Roswell had 2 of the best. They did a great job putting most of the scenes into one video.

One of my only ships that ever ended up together...I binge the entire series every year. I miss them. Max & Liz are definitely one of my top couples as well! They certainly went through a lot to be together and earned that ending! It may have been a little rushed, but I loved the finale! I just wish we could've gotten to see what happened to the gang after the wedding! How did Liz use her powers? How many babies did they have! I wish they would do a movie! We have a couples and friendships thread if you want to share some more of your favorites. I always watch it every summer! We might all do a re-watch so maybe we can chat about it before the summer is out! tvdshow.proboards.com/thread/339/favorite-tv-shows-couples-friendships?page=1
