SPOILER:
Losing Mikael on The Originals was awful, but I have a bad feeling that isn’t the last big death of the season. — Matt
Well, Matt, you are not wrong. When asked point blank if Mikael’s death was the last of season 2, Originals executive producer Michael Narducci replies, “No, not at all. Not even close, unfortunately.” And if you’re thinking that probably means more than one person you love is going to die before season’s end, you’d be right. “There are a few more deaths and they are just as heartbreaking and really, really sad,” Narducci says. (Please don’t be Elijah. Please don’t be Elijah.) I knew it!! There had to be someone else other than Mikael, but a few more! Good grief! I may need counseling before it's all over with! People I could do without: Hayley, Jackson and Cami. As much as Cami has grown on me this season she really serves no purpose in the show anymore. They don't know what to do with her character. She just shows up every now and then to try to comfort one of the guys so I don't see the need to keep her around anymore. Actually everyone, but Klaus and Elijah are pretty expendable. I like Marcel and it would be pretty devastating for the others to lose him, but it would open doors for them all to grieve and try to see how they deal with the fallout. I'd say they could do without Davina, but they do need a witch on their side unless they plan on bringing someone new in. Josh and Aiden pop up here and there and don't really contribute that much either even though I like both of them. I like Gia and would love to see her stick around for obvious reasons which makes me think she'll be one of the ones to go just because I've gotten attached to her! I could do without Hayley and Jackson. As much as I use to like Hayley all she does is whine in every episode and it gets on my last nerve!! She does absolutely nothing at all! Jackson is useless too! I think they'll keep this Rebekah so Claire can come back if she chooses. Freya could go unless they have some great big story for her other than to stir up trouble between the other siblings. Vincent? I have no idea what they have planned for him? Did I leave anyone out? At this point it's anyone's guess! moshe12 and jennifer Care to speculate ladies! I'm still reeling from reading above that Esther might not truly be dead and we're getting more back story on her. Getting past that, you made a good pros/cons list wednesday. I do think Gia could get caught up in the fight between Klaus/siblings. Elijah can't catch a break in love (or lust) it seems. I hope she doesn't leave though! I'd rather see Cami and Jackson go, although if Gia stays around and there's no Jackson, that will probably mean a triangle with Elijah/Haley, which no, just no. Vincent doesn't have a story at the moment but I like him and want him to stick around. You're right, anyone's guess! I expect Haley to stay around unless Phoebe Tonkin wants to leave. I think with the Esther thing they might be talking about the original Esther like flashbacks or at least that's what I'm hoping for. With what Freya did it looked like she killed her to me. I wouldn't mind seeing Alice in FB's. I tried on the list! I hope our Gia makes it! Elijah really needs an ally and I think she is a perfect match for him! You're right though, if Jackson dies then they will probably turn it into a triangle with Hayley! So you're no longer on that ship either? The writers have made her so unlikable now! I can't help it! I just want her gone! I like Phoebe, but not Hayley. Cami I think is a likely candidate. I really hope they're bringing Nate back!!! Do you think they are with all this talk about resurrecting Kol? As you know I don't watch TVD anymore, but I read that they have witch/vampires now! Is that going to carry over to this show too? Is it going to apply to Kol since he was a witch and a vampire? That will be really interesting how they'll try to explain that one. I like Vincent too now that Finn isn't possessing him anymore. Yusuf is a good actor because I really loathed him when he was Finn! I actually have sympathy for him now!

Yusuf is a good actor because I really loathed him when he was Finn! I actually have sympathy for him now! OK good, Alice in FB's is good; Esther returning is very bad. I don't mind Haley so much except when she gave Elijah a hard time. She's the one who married and immediately jumped in bed with Jackson! THAT bugged me, her hypocrisy with Elijah. Haley the character hasn't had much to do, so she personally isn't bugging me. I'm over the ship at the moment though. I wouldn't be surprised if the vamp/witch thing carries over to Originals although I'm not sure how it would work with Kol because he's dead. For the ones on TVD, they were witches like Kai, siphoners, who got turned and are now desiccated vamp/witches who can use vamp power to do witchcraft (maybe you already know the particulars). I do think Davina will find a witchy workaround so Kol can come back as just a witch. Although he could always be made into the first witch/vamp on Originals. I agree about Yusef!

Ok wednesday here is my humble opinion on killing off characters: Klaus and Elijah = absolute no go the show is called The Originals and not The Remains of The Day!!! lol Bex or Bex substitute = will not happen Marcel = I don't want it to happen Hayley and Jackson = meh, I don't care, I can't stand the pouting and Jackson is stupid and a wuss. Josh= don't want him to die, but tbh, he could kick the bucket Davina = don't care about her that much tbh Gia= absolute death candidate, doesn't make me happy Cami = another death candidate, doesn't make me happy either Freya = don't care Dahlia = she will cross the Jordan sooner or later, better sooner did I forget anyone Tell me if I did. TY. So long Cheers

Ok here is one more: that guy who was body jumped by Finn Jacob or whatever his name is, he is an amazing actor, want him to stay, but I am not sure he will survive.

TV GUIDE SEASON FINALE SCOOP
The Originals (The CW)
Airs: Monday, May 11 at 8/7c
"Things will get worse before they get better!" executive producer Michael Narducci warns. With Dahlia, the last remaining first-generation Mikaelson, in town, expect a deadly showdown. "Some people are going to not make it," Narducci says. "This was our Empire Strikes Backseason and ... at the end of it you will, I hope, be devastated, but you'll see that these people are not yet defeated. " Adds Joseph Morgan: "There are moments which will really make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and we'll see our heroes really stand together [which is] inspiring ... But there's also a very unexpected action from a character which turns the tide completely at the last moment." Hmm, could that tease be related to this nugget Morgan shared earlier in the season? "I was pitching an idea where, at the end of Season 2, Marcel comes out of left field and tries to take the city. All along he's been preparing these forces and we've been concentrating on our family and we never saw it coming."

Not a good idea to kill off Marcel...he could come back though ...lol, you never know with TO and TVD, if there is one thing I have learned being a TVD and TO fan and viewer since 2010, it is not to take death seriously in these two shows. BTW I have ordered my DVD series1 of TO from UK, due to arrive any day now and for a reasonable price as well as the somewhat messed up season 5 of TVD, but hey! A collection is a collection right!

Yes, might as well have all the seasons. There are several eps. in TVD S5 I've watched at least 3-4 times even though the season is my least favorite. Happy watching!

exactly jennifer my saying/philosophy...have to collect them all, otherwise it is not really a collection, I liked season 5 beginning 8 episodes and the last few episodes esp ep 21 and 22. the middle was a bit meh, but hey! Guess what even Buffy had a weak season 4. And I am not racking my brains over TVD anymore, just take it as it comes And I am happy that I like season 6 so far...so far is good, we are almost at the end right! 4 more epsiodes, so all in all season 6 was a good season, for me it was. Same goes for TO Cheers!!!

TVLINE: May Sweeps Preview, Finale Spoilers PRE-FINALE: "Every single character is in a dire, Dahlia-related situation," warns executive producer Michael Narducci. "Nobody is safe." That includes Hayley, who will risk "alienating and/or losing some of the people she loves" in order to protect her child, and Cami, who returns to the fold to get Klaus back on track. As the finale draws near, "Characters will die, and several characters will be changed in ways that are horrifying and/or life altering." SEASON FINALE (MAY 11): How's this for a tease? Per Narducci, just when it appears all is lost for the Mikaelsons, "A desperate plan, a moment of trust, a final sacrifice and a surprising twist may give the family a final shot to save themselves — or damn them for all time." The Originals: What's the deal with baby Hope?

jennifer and moshe12Ok so according to these articles we're going to lose more people before the finale. I guess someone else will die next week. Care to guess? I was really hoping it would be Jackson, but he makes it through to EP21 and I read on another site that Nathan revealed in an interview that he'll be around for next season. Boo!!!!! This means we're going to lose people we actually care about and end up being stuck with his lame butt!!! From the way Marcel is going right now it could be him. By betraying Klaus I don't see him fairing very well at the moment. My poor Gia looks like her number may be up if they're cleaning house. They're talking about having more romance next season! Sorry but I shudder at the thought! If there's one thing these writers have proven it's that they can't write a love story without destroying it. TVD is proof of that and so are the ratings no offense guys. That's what made this show different. The thought of them putting Elijah with Hayley now makes me want to Whatever feelings I had before about them the writers have ruined. I like him with Gia because they are well suited for each other. I don't like how they're having Elijah act like some love sick school boy and betraying his brother for Hayley. Sound familiar? I guess I'll rant about that in the other thread. As for Claire returning as Rebekah, I would love that but only if she's going to stick around. From the article it doesn't sound like she plans to. Rebekah has become a big part of the story now and they need her around. I like the new actress and think she is doing a great job. Do I prefer Claire? Of course I do, but she wants to do other things. She wants to come in every now and then and they can use her in FF's which is always one of my favorite things so we get the best of both. It sounds like they're finally going to do something with Cami so maybe she has a chance! Davina has a real shot at bringing Kol back which I'm very happy about, but at what cost?

Tbh I have no inkling who is gonna die, maybe Marcel will die as you said in your theory. I am not good with these predictions of death. I didn't see Aiden's death either. But one thing I know, Cami won't die. About Elijah, all this goggly eying Hayley is completely pis*** me off. I can't stand Hayley, never did, never will, and I seriously hope she kicks the bucket.

Maybe Gia will side with Elijah over Marcel and won't help with whatever Marcel has planned? Obviously I want her to stay and explore Elijah a little more...oh, I mean have the show explore them as a couple. I like the new Rebekah too. She's nicer for one thing. Now I'm used to her, so going back to Clair would be an adjustment. I'm torn. Yeah, Cami looks safe after her interaction with Klaus - good tension, heat. Now if they can just figure out a story line for her besides Freudian psychologist b/c it drives me nuts (hey, maybe I need Cami's help to move past those feelings). All that to say Marcel & Davina are the two I see dying. They're practically written out of the story anyway.
