What I liked: Quetsiyah is the villain wow not since Katherine has someone made me this excited. Klaus was a close second but Tessa which is much easier to write is going to be fun to watch. I liked Matt again getting to have a real storyline. I liked this interesting is the gypsy bad or good storyline. I liked stefen getting his daylight ring back. I liked elena touching stefen even if it was just a little bit.
WHat I am not sure about (I know it is not a topic but I am adding it) I am not sure about this doppleganger story line. I do like that stefen and elena have this epic love connection but I don't want it to be tainted or in any way to be compared to the sire bond or to be said that damon fought through their connection and that is why damon is her true and epic love so this whole thing I am not sure about because well if I go on to much I will find my self in debates with the de's so I will digress. I am also not liking Katherine's blood being the cure because the bloodbag thing is going to return and she is going to be hunted and I mean seriously the girl can not catch a break. although she has done some horrible things so it could be interesting what happens. My favorite scene was seeing what Tessa did to the original doppleganger that was intense. What caught me of guard was realizing that this dude was inside matt???

I have mixed feelings about tonight's episode. I absolutely loved it dont get me wrong
I loved the revelation of Quetsiah being Tessa. and the fact shes one bad ass Psycho Witch lol So the story is true I guess about Quesiah and Silas and Amara. He was entombed because he refused to take the cure or be with Quetsiah. And still refused to take it and rather he starved for 2000 years instead of joining Amaya on the other side which by the way how did he find out about the other side/?
All this great obstacle to find Katherine when all he had to do was drink her blood while she was in the tub and then kill himself. If thats all he want why dont they give him it. But then again he wants to destroy the veil before he kills himself.
Anyway Elena, Katherine, and Damon pretty funny. gotta love Katherine always messing with people.
Nadia is upto her own scheme which we dont know what exactly that is yet. There is definitely information still missing. She used Matt has a holding spot for her traveler friend and i guess Silas had a reason for being so paranoid. So whats next for Nadia and her traveling buddy who im almost certain is back alive up and running.
There is still information that I know we are missing but it just makes it more frustrating to deal with lol
now the Whole Destined Doppelganger crap
This to me just point for to Damon and Elena being together and fighting Destiny to be together. Katherine is still possible game for Stefan if thats the case so we going to have to deal with insecurities going about, and more confusion. Were there other Doppelgangers who found eachother. Is Stefan Katherine's destiny lover or did she miss out on hers because of her turning into a vampire...
How about Tatia, did she ever find her true love. Maybe he was the one who she had a baby with...
Still doesnt explain why the doppelganger blood is special to the immortality spell. SO MANY QUESTIONS AND CONFUSION.
ill cut it there because i dont want to make my head explode.
Now Stefan and his memory loss...Quetsiah fried his head to fry Silas Physic powers. So does that mean Silas cannot compel anyone...the one we have to deal with now is Tessa she is the Ultra Villain right now.
I think thats it for now..too much going on in my head right now.
oh and I guess Damon did care to find out about what was going on with his brother in Elena's dreams...damn you webclips and promos lol

First of all I might want to add that I need to watch the episode at least two times again, before it can sink in. I am in awe, shocked, amused and sad. What did you Like? THere is not one episode or season of TVD I don't like. Generally I think the episodes need 60 minutes and not only 42 min. The show is so fast paced and fully packed with info. OMG that episode blew me away... I think my brain was fried as well. pooh!!! The whole doppelganger mojo thing was explained. All of a sudden we have so many different villains with different agendas. What you did not like? I am kind of worried for Mattie. Don't want anything to happen to him. He's our last human standing. What was your favorite scene/quote? When Damon attacked Quetsiyah, that was cool. It was very funny when Kat apperaed with her big bag and said to Elena and Damon "come on let's go". I don't get the words together exactly right now What scene was the most shocking to you or caught you off guard? When Tessa revealed who she is. Didn't have her in mind yet, so she did cross the veil and didnt answer Bonnie, but was lurking in the dark for 3 whole months. B*** She is sooo psycho, fired Stefs brain along with Silas. Stefans amnesia shocked me. And any additional thoughts! I was never in all those episodes and seasons equally sad for both brothers and also Elena. I can't explain it right now. I felt so sorry for Damon when Quetsiyah explained the future of him planned by the universe. Then I felt so sorry for Stef for his 3 months torture in the vault and continued torture by the crafty little witch b***. I can hardly wait til next Thursday. Am really brooding here and trying to understand Nadias intentions and can't find an answer. It was like the entire episode was a cliffhanger. That is what I am feeling anyway. So what is Kat's destiny? Does Silas want to kill her by just killing her as a sacrifice (like Klaus in season 2) or does he want to drain her blood. I sKat's blood now an attraction for vamps who want to be human again. Wasn't there something similiar in the books...(Elenas blood irrestistable for vamps).

This isn't specifically about 5x03, BUT I have noticed that Michael Trevinos name still appears among the cast, so what is that deal, at first I thought oh this is strange, but maybe its because they mention him in the first episodes...BUT this is already the third ep and he hasn't appeared yet in person, Nevertheless his name appears. So what is this about? Idon't think he is that written off.

A quote I love: Stefan to Quetsiyah "If you are really Silas' one true love, why don't you both do us a favour and ride off together into the sunset leave us all alone" Foggy moment: Why did Quetsiyah say to Stef " I came back for YOU" ? Contradictions: Silas said to Stef that he had created the immortality spell in the season 4 finale, now Quetsiyah is saying she reated that spell.

at first I hated the thought that Stefan and Elena's epic love was just caused by the doppelgängerthing. But thinking about it some more, well they have to have more than just a doppelgängerthing. If it would be only about the doppelgänger Stefan would have the same epic feelings for Katherine and Elena and Katherine would be madly in love with Silas, too. So there is more to Stelena than just the doppelgänger destiny. Maybe Quetsiya created the sirebond to break the doppelgänger destiny. What I loved most are of course the Stelena moments. When Elena came into the cabin and Stefan and Damon were injured she immediately ran to Stefan and didn't notice Damon at all. And the moment Elena put the ring back on Stefan's finger was EPIC. These are the moments that keep me from turning my tv off ;-) I am not sure what to think about Matt and the traveler thing. I really want Matt to have a good storyline but didn't we have Klaus who used Alaric's and Tyler's body and Silas appearing as everyone... now this traveler insite Matt? Not again please. Katherine beeing the cure is interesting. How can that play out? Everyone who drinks from her becomes human? So everyone will have the choice again. Enough cure for everyone so everyone can chose without taking something away from another ... INTERESTING!!!!

What a great episode! We finally get to see Quetsiyah and what her motives are. I love her already! Although if the story is true, then what an ass Silas was and doesn't he deserve to be miserable? I hope we get to see Amara's perspective but she didn't deserve to be butchered. We never saw her body so perhaps Amara really isn't dead. What I don't get is why Amara, who drank from the cup of immortality then had the cure and then died, wouldn't go to the supernatural holding spot behind the veil like Quetsiyah? Or does the fact that Silas and Quetsiyah are travellers mean that all witches are travellers and this is why they would go behind the veil and not Amara? Kudos to Damon for not abandoning Stefan when Tessa offered to hide him so Damon and Elena could be together without interuption. I'm so happy that Stefan wasn't the ripper. Even though the killed the first guy he encountered, he resisted butchering the bartender and he tried warning Tessa in fear he would hurt her. It was interesting how Silas was vicious with Katherine given she looks like his true love.

It was interesting how Silas was vicious with Katherine given she looks like his true love. Good point with Amara's body. Silas became immortal > nature created ONE doppelgänger who can die instead to keep the balance. So why does Amara have TWO doppelgängers? Did she become immortal, took the cure died and came back as a new immortal? Hence two doppelgängers needed for her? I don't think nature's balance is ok with 2 doppelgängers of the same kind running around. There has to be a reason for this About Stefans amnesia. Tessa offered Damon do hide Stefan so Damon wouldn't be disturbed with having sex with Elena. So do you think she took Stefan's memory instead now? Because she sees her and Damon's destiny connected?
