Hey gang, so this is a show I've never missed an ep, but don't post much on the thread..... only so many hours... I had to post something after the two great eps they've given us so far..... much better than some of S2..... The Fitz/Jemma rescue scene was classic Joss, I was right there on the edge of the chair and the music fit perfectly..... the most exciting scene this fall, I think.... Of course I'm glad May is back and I'm interested how her triangle with Phil and the ex is going to fit on the bus. lol I'm glad Ward is back and going to be the "big bad" Joss is a master at redeeming characters, but taking one that's kinda good and going bad-bad is a new twist.... besides shoving him back on the team to be in a triangle with Daisy is something they'd do on CW. Daisy is a much better name for Sky, because it is the polar opposite of what she's become.... I want to chime in on what crimmyj said several back about Whedon not wasting any characters... it's always been his style to give each character their own story (unlike some of the series I can think of) Nobody gets put on the bench or rushed to the back of the bus and no window dressing..... great vids Anna, tks, and OMG I saw a voice from the past in the thumbs above..... LA, take that keyboard out of the mothballs and tickle the ivorys....

I knew you had to be watching this show shoe20. It wouldn't be like you to miss anything Whedon related. This is a solid show through and through. Great character development, which is lacking in most shows today...people don't seem to care about keeping a character static as long as they are pretty. Mo and Jed do an awesome job with the pacing of this show. Plus the attention to minor details I appreciate.

I actually wrote a pretty long post on here last week and the post monkey ate it. Yes, bitter taste.... doesn't happen often, but when it does I hate it. Hunter was a great choice for an avatar..... I can't wait for his show down with Ward. You said something last week that bares repeating.... Whedon never wastes a character... each is part of the whole ensemble, but he takes the time to grow each one..... Boy, some other series should really try and emulate the master a bit more. I was so excited that Fitz got to rescue Jemma in the first episode.(love 'em together)... right there on the edge of the seat stuff and the music was perfect for the scene..... It's the little things that polish a scene to the experience level. So yea, if it's Whedon, I watch...

So far I think it has been magnificent.

Just thinking that Andrew is not dead, and he could be Lash. Just wanted to throw that out there. This show has been spot on this season and I can't wait for next week's Simmons episode.

I'm absolutely sure Mr May didn't buy the farm.... Ward did look like he lost his left lung, though... at least temporarily. Daisy is getting pretty fed up with Coulson's deal, but I think he's just playing Rosalind and the ACLU (yea, I know, but it still comes to mind when I hear it. lol I'm sure Joss the boss didn't do it by accident) One things for sure if looks could kill, Hunter would be pushing up daises. (ok, that was a little funny. ) I sure would want to be on the receiving end of a pissed off calvary... I gotta say crimmy, this season gets better every episode.... they are really on a roll. (It's a shame other showrunners don't pay more attention on how to develop a story, haha) Tues and Wed are chucked full of goodies this season....

Yeah do not piss off May...damn Hunter what were you thinking. I know, you were thinking of Bobbi and revenge. Speaking of looks, the look on Ward's face when he saw May, that was priceless. A complete "oh sh**!" look. Also Baby von strucker at the end there, that reaction was more of a "OMG what the hell did I just see" rather than a I just killed someone reaction. Maybe Andrew turned into Lash right in front of Evil jr. and got the eff out of there. I mean remember the convo with Andrew and May about him abruptly leaving Hawaii on their vacay, and she thought it was because of her and he made a decision to walk away...maybe it was because he's Lash. *shrug* This series just keep building on its own momentum, it is really dialed in now and its great to see. Tuesday nights I look forward to the most.

Your right about Strucker Jr he was freaked..... boy, what a tool.. Ward will bend and twist him like a pipe cleaner. lol I still can't come up with a logical reason Jemma needs to go back, but I'm glad she's going come clean with Fitz..... CD should pay attention.... that's how you write a slow burn organic relationship.... The attraction continues to build until there is no other choice than to be together.... Gotta post on Arrow.... another great episode... Felicity has morphed into the toughest girl on the show...

Yeah I am really excited about the next episode to find out more about Jemma's time and maybe figure out where she was. It could be somewhere that is going to tie in to Thor Ragnarok and that storyline. Who knows how time passed there for her, was she there "longer" than she was missing in our time? Who did she come in contact there, potentially other survivors, those like her that got sucked into the monolith. maybe someone truly innocent like a small child? So many theories which makes it fun and really has me excited about the next episode. CD should pay attention to a lot of things they do on this show. not only relationships (both building one, ending one, creating tension, etc) but also how to thread the needle in storytelling ...you can weave complicated arcs both long and short together and make them work without being hamfisted and clumsy. CD beats you over the head with theirs arcs.

I was so happy for Jemma but so so sad at the same time knowing she was telling thw atory to fitz. Part of me feels. Will doesnt exist and it was part of Simmonds coping mechanism to keep her hope up. N the guy she made up was in connection to Fitz (hence the goodnight fitz.mgoodnight will scene) but lets see. Sent from my SM-G900T using proboards

That episode set it up nicely that they really could go either way and I wouldn't be disappointed, because if Will is real they made him both likeable and a mystery. This episode was truly riveting, I was so locked in like watching a movie...that when it was over I was like nooooooooo more!! This season is filled with such excellence every week.

If Will is real and the hook up did happen, he'd be OK with it knowing Jemma had lost hope, and needed a connection to keep her going. Fitz is an inspiration of how to set aside ego for the one you love...

What did I tell you shoe20 I nailed the Andrew is Lash prediction! This show is consistently cranking out quality television this season. So far this season has been nothing short of amazing. These writers are working as a unit, their continuity and cohesion is on point. They are like the anti-TVD.
