EP07 DEATH AND THE MAIDEN Official synopsis: THE POWER OF DOPPLEGANGERS – While Elena and Damon try to explain Amara’s situation to Stefan, Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) gives Katherine some deeply disturbing news. Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda) shows up at Caroline’s dorm room, searching for Katherine. After a surprising conversation with Amara, Jeremy and Bonnie share a glimmer of hope. Silas fails to keep a promise, causing Damon to turn to Tessa (guest star Janina Gavankar) for help with his new plan, and Stefan makes a heartbreaking confession to Damon and Elena. ---> Stefan lives on until 5x07 in any way. So for who are things going to go wrong!!! Damn it I wish it were Thursday every day.

so the cure only works if someone drinks whole Katherine and not just a few drops I guess... so we are back to one and one only cure... Who's the guy that's getting tortured by Dr. Maxfield? Stefan and Silas are linked and Damon knows that. How can he talk about killing Silas if he doesn't know if it would kill Stefan Yeah the cure reminds me of the sacrifice in season 2, Klaus had to drain the doppelgänger of every ounce of blood... Prof Frankenstein is torturing/experimenting on Jesse. Don't really know what plan Damon has in mind, but I don't believe it is his intention to kill Stef. We need a witch, maybe we can borrow one from The Originals Great idea moshe12, Klaus can start a "dial a witch" or "witchey escort service".......could be a real money maker. And Katherine need to get to the science lab at college and synthesize the cure. lololo8-)

So Elena's going to have serious Bonnie guilt....Many poster on another page profess Elena has nothing to feel guilty about, but I think... Yes! Elena has a basis for her guilt.....The First thought that went through her mind after she got Jeremy back.....should have been. "What Did It Cost" Elena knows better that anyone on the series that magic strong enough to bring someone back from the dead....comes with a price!!! Why wasn't she looking in to this until she had the answer? Her brother and her BFF were involved, you think she wouldn't quit before she knew HOW and WHAT did it cost. Again Elena is showing how much she's like Stefan in her guilt for actions and inactions. She's "not, not sorry" lol

The poor girl needed a break but now she is slapped back into reality and knows there's things that need to be discovered and mysteries to be solved. So she's going to get it started haha.

It's not just Elena who should've noticed something was wrong but Caroline and Matt too. Matt said he sent 300 emails - I hope he was exaggerating - and she only answered 2 and he didn't think anything was off with that? Even with Bonnie not attending her own dad's funeral should have been a big sign for all of them. If anything though it should have been Bonnie to make Jeremy tell them she was dead because she should have known that her dying would release the spell she put on Silas. By asking Jeremy to lie she potentially put everyone in danger. I don't like the argument that Elena was allowed to be happy because really haven't they all been through some heavy crap and deserve to be happy, except for maybe someone whose name rhymes with demon , yet somehow Stefan was tortured all summer, Jeremy was mourning for Bonnie all by himself and Bonnie must have been going through hell to be able to see all her friends going on without a care in the world which at this point she will never do. I don't necessarily believe that Elena should have known that the price for getting Jeremy back was Bonnie's life after all the last time Bonnie did the body swap it was Grams who paid the price. I think Elena is feeling guilty because she is still grieving about Bonnie and that she ignored the bad feeling she had about Stefan that turned out to be something bad.

Yea I'm talking about Elena realizing it. They all deserved to be happy and I guess they were just blinded by the fact silas was gone. Klaus left. Katherine was human and harmless so they were able to breathe. Matt was out of the country the whole summer so it's ok he was out the loop. Caroline? What was she doing the whole summer? Just focusing on college I guess? She's grieving Bonnies death and it's a wake up call for her. She realizes these were things she should've realized when it happen and now she is snapping out of it to get things done.

Elena's going to spend some time in the guilt pit. While she's there she'll realize that she can't talk to Damon about it because he has know idea what it is. lol She can't reach out the Stefan, cause she screwed that up with the "memory lane" hike. Elena burned the bridge she took him to......lol So...........here comes Arron, the perfect answer to Elena's needs. Let the bonding begin.. This web clip for 505 once again points to the major difference in the Salvatore brothers. * Stefan, Acknowledges Guilt... in fact it eats him up because he hasn't been able to reconcile the shame it makes him feel. No memories has let that all slip away, but it only temporary. Hopefully he'll remember what's it like to be guilt free and find a happy medium. * Damon, Denies Guilt..... for him there is no reason to feel guilty about anything. It's simply something that doesn't exist....therefore the "I'm not Sorry" is totally honest. Elena is certainly like Stefan in the way she processes guilt. Her new found "selfish streak" hasn't affected her being responsible for her actions....YET.... And she might as well talk to her thumb, as talk to Damon about her feelings of remorse. .............
